alexash1367I am unable to flash my BIOS. I get the following error:No display adapters were found that are compatible with this update. My current BIOS Version is 94.02.71.40.AA. Please advise thank you
Max SilencioHi, can you please explain the difference between 'normal' and 'Default' VBIOS.I have now 'Default': 94.02.42.80.16I would like the BIOS with as little wattage as possible.
rberry009How do I tell if my 3080 FTW3 ultra is the LHR version or not? Also, is there a big difference having HLR?
FedericoUYIf the LHR versions are physically same as the latest non LHR FTW3 Ultra, even if you could flash a higher wattage bios, you'll find power limit in ~400w (sometimes less than 400). No big difference between stock and "oc" bios.
rberry009So what you are telling me @coresare is that if my model number ends in a KL it is the LHR version?
schmiggyjkI have an LHR 3080 FTW3 on the way from the evga queue, and from what I gather, the LHR cards aren't supported with this bios? Is that something we can expect eventually? Or is this bios already included with those newer cards?
KomradskiyIn the same boat with a LHR 3080 FTW3 from the EVGA queue. Waiting for some sort of information or new BIOS. Weird way to handle the change in card type.
0Actionman0It's not working for my card as I have the LHR card I'm Searching for the original OC Bios which coming with the LHR version as I replaced it with the non-OC Bios :( and want to revert it back but I forget to take a backup from it.
AeeonI used this bios and updated a 3080Ti FTW3 Ultra card on the OC bios. One night I was playing Battlefront 2 in Heroes Vs Villains and the image on screen froze. So I tried to recover and close the game, get back to the desktop, tried everything so in the end had to hold the power button down. Once I turned the PC back on I no longer had video over display port which this update initially fixed. Contacted EVGA and had this card RMA'd. Just today I received the replacement card and now I can't even get video drivers to install, so I can then update the vbios. The card is not detected at all. In the future I hope EVGA makes sure display port works out of the box.
Aeeon This PC is the first time I've built a PC in 8 years. A lot has changed, also a lot has stayed the same. All I remember is using HDMI to get into bios and windows, and then installing drivers and updating the vbios. Now for some reason this isn't working for me. I believe this is the correct vbios. I used OC bios switch first time around and updated the OC vbios. This fixed being able to see BIOS and Windows on Display Port. This time I'm attempting to just use the normal vbios but unable to install drivers so I can't update the vbvios. Device Manager isn't detecting the card. GPUZ only shows integrated graphics. The GPU so far isn't being detected at all. Also I don't have fast boot enabled as far as I know. I still see the normal text startup listing all hardware connected before Windows starts up.
