Here are my results of the evga overclock. I did this wihout increasing the powerlimit. This because a increase in power limit results in a direct crash.

    That shouldn't happen.
I have the same card and this how I have mine set up.
    My memory clock is 1000.
GPU clock is 135, 2145 MHz (constant).
    Voltage 100%.
    Power is set at 124%.
    GPU temp runs around 40 - 44 C (mostly 43 - 44C).
Auto fan curve, fan 1 is 25% and fan 2 is 56%.
I run SETI at HOME 24/7 with these settings.

Maybe you have a bad power supply.

You should give some specs. on your computer otherwize we're just guessing.

Curious as how u can maintain 43-44C on full load? I have a hybrid 2080 Ti XC Ultra and the best I can get tweaking it with Noctua fans, placement, is 55-56C depending on game and benchmark. that's with aggressive fan profile and optimal airflow with ambient room temp of 74-75F

this is not on full load. i just posted a picture of the settings. These temps are static, just after the stresstest.

I agree, you should not have a issue with the 124% PL. I did it on a bios change on a Black card. Your memory OC should be able to hit 2k as well (8k).
Something is off. Not sure what though. You have a great rig. I run my card at the 124% and your score obviously beats mine due to the 9900k, but the graphic score is where
the issue it at. That card/cpu combo should be able to hit a higher graphics score. Not that it should change anything but have you tried using Afterburner to OC? I know that may be a sin to mention in an EVGA forum, but that would be something to rule out.

I do have an open case but that doesn't matter because I have the same temps with it on, I'm just lazy
BTW, I use an EVGA CLC (280 x 140mm) for my cpu so there is no heat being dumped into my case.

The previous GPU had the same problem. The previous card had also a bad memory sensor. I thought mabey this is also the problem with the problem of increasing the power limit. I did a RMA on the card and the above results are from the new GPU. So i also think there must be a defferent problem. But my previous GPU (1080ti hybrid evga) didn't had any problems with overclocking and raising the power limit. I must say the last overclock was like 1 year aggo. I Always try to get the maximum out of the card, but never realy use the overclock. This because it doesent change much in terms of fps.

Can the problem be related to my cpu overclock?

Never keep the same clocks on new hardware.  Think of each component its own personality.  Installing any gear should be at bare minimums at stock settings and than go from there.

Use this Associate Code at your checkouts or follow these instructions for Up to 10% OFF on all your EVGA purchases:

yea i did. never said i used old settings. I thought mabey the cpu overclock can be the problem of not beeing able to raise the powerlimit. Spoke to EVGA support and they told me i am a Lucky guy because the stock boostclock is 1755mhz and i get 1950mhz in stock settings. They also say the reason of not being able to raise the powerlimit, is because i already reache a verry high stock clock. They say the increasing of the powerlimit is only a tool if the cards needs more power and some cards dont need the power and crash if you do.

Ok that makes sense.  So you've reached your limit already on the GPU.

Still think its strange. Doing a RMA on the PSU atm. Mabey something will come out of it.
