I just completed a itx build (B660i, i7-12700k, EVGA GeForce GTX 1650 Super, H100i AIO Elite, Dominator Ram, SF750 PSU). I am not using this for gaming, just personal use, creator stuff & heavy photo editing using Lr & Ps. When I turned it on for the first time & waiting for the bios to show up both fans were spinning. I left everything running for 30 mins to see how my AIO was handling the temps on the cpu (i7-12700K), again during this time both fans were spinning on the gpu. After the Windows 11 installation was completed I noticed both fans stopped spinning. They were off for awhile, then only one fan was spinning. I read that it only activates when a specific temp is reached, not sure what that temp is. I do not have the EVGA monitoring software installed at this time. I do have iCUE installed because I have Corsair products, H100i Elite AIO, Dominator Ram, SF750 PSU. So here are some of my questions:
1. Without EVGA monitoring software shouldn't both fans be running or is it normal for 1 fan until a higher temp is met? It did take some time for the 1 fan to kick in, estimated time 20 mins. I guess that higher temp was met to activate.
2. Do I need to install EVGA software? I see there are 2 types, Precision X OC & Precision X1. Both links take me to the same download page for Precision X1, but I have no idea which one to install & could use some advise. I believe I need to download the Stand Alone Version 1.3.6.0. Is this the one I need to download for fan control speeds for the 1650 Super?
3. Has anyone had any protocol issues while having 2 software's installed iCUE & Precision X1? Had a issue using iCUE & WHiNFO system monitoring software on a previous build.
4. Since this is basically an Nvidia product, does Nvidia have monitoring software that would work with this gpu?
Hope someone can help me out, Thanks for reading.
