Alternate just again said to me they have no information at all. I canceled my pre-order there.
 
I recommend trying it at Caseking, I did today when they had an unknown delivery date and got my card shipped already. They say, the next cards are available at 29th of July.

Bought one this morning but now newegg told me my order is void. So I can't afford to buy another if it becomes available until I get my refund. RIP

Got set on express after mourning on their hotline about their missinformation.
After checking my orders it says "shipped via DHL Express". :-D And I get it shipped to my company, DHL Delivery. So I will have it, right after returning from sicilia.

what is the DT ?  I got the other 1080 FTW and am not sure what the difference is
 

The DT doesn't have to factory Overclock, I don't however think they are cards rejected to be the full FTW however, just ones that aren't warrantied to run at the higher clocks. don't know if they test each of the FTW cards to make sure they run at the OC, and the rejects become DT. my guess is they just accept a slightly higher RMA rate on the full FTW cards.

Netherlands here; looks like some stock of GTX 1070 FTW (and SC) came in. Some shops actually list a decent price for the FTW (SC not so much).
 
Still not a single GTX 1080 FTW in sight. When can we expect those?

A waste of money on the FTW if you do. 

Finale got my 1080FTW from alternate.de. Should do the trick until september to get a second one. And it was worth waiting for the evga compared to other manufacturers.

Nice to hear that Alternate finally got those cards out. They couldn't for my pre-order unfortunately, but I will get mine from Caseking tomorrow.

I've had two orders voided by Newegg for the same reason as another user listed in this thread, too many orders before the system can catch up.
 
Any word on release for the classified edition yet? If I don't get a 1080 soon I'm going to explode as I'm still running a 680 GPU cause I waited to build a new system until this card line launched and so far have been SOL for actually getting one due to being an adult and not being able to sit on a phone/cpu all day for a shipment.

And sold out literally mid order.. Paypal preset wasn't even fast enough to get my order in. Apparently,  adults with jobs are out of luck as we can't sit here* all day hitting refresh.

Am I missing why they cannot just say "We received some more stock, it will be up around 7EST keep an eye out!" ?
 
This gives a chance to everyone with enough notice rather than just the lucky people who happen to be on for the 7 minutes it is in stock. That way when people don't get the card it is purely the stock levels rather than the absolute complete luck and having a bot order for you basically...
 
People that cannot be at a device with internet 24/7 watching for it are getting shafted here. What about those who work all day or those who are otherwise indisposed? It also just makes no sense to me why a release date/time for the Classified cannot be announced either, especially with some already being purchased and clearly at some retailers...

No excuse to continue having these stock issues by now. Its not supply and demand. Its hype, HYPE, hold back stock, more hype and repeat. Its working great it seems. Many people are also buying them that do not want them. Only to sell them at a higher price. EVGA gets blame as well with their store. They know of this inflated shortage. Yet they allow 2 cards per customer. Give other people like you a chance. They should only allow one per customer. Its not like they have a issue of still selling them.

If the supply is honestly that damned short, then there is NO excuse to allow two per customer at this point, or even selling to repeat customers, as it's doing nothing but fueling the scalpers charging hundreds over MSRP trying to make a quick buck and screwing those of us who actually work for a living.
