nbm02ss For anyone who back ordered a 1070FTW from NewEgg, I just got an email that said it should be shipping out in the next 24-48 hours. The status on the webpage lists as "packaging" and my payment has been charged. Excited!
1080 FTW also I got my confirmation that it is being packaged.

SafetyHelmet I think one problem is that there's no preorder capability with the EVGA store. Get a system in place that's capable of handling preorders, and let people know where they are at in the queue. It's pretty lame to post up +5 stock on the site and let people hammer it in hopes to get it, week after week. Get the right infrastructure in place to support your products and your customers. Spend the money on an e-commerce platform that better fits your customers and their needs. Also, it'd be nice if EVGA would send out an email explaining why there is such an issue producing enough of this generation of cards, and what is being done in the future so that people don't wait months to be able to buy one after the release date. I love EVGA products and have spent many thousands on them for personal and work purposes. You guys aren't a mom and pop operation these days, you're a global company. People expect more. <3
Couldn't agree more. Of course it would also help if Nvidia would quit paper launching cards.
Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans ....

Stocks for everything are usually refreshed every week, though none of us can know when until the day before or the day of.

Like I appreciate the fact that they let us have this forum and Jacob posts a lot on when everything is going down (albeit 15 minutes to an hour before, if not more vague) but can't they just tell us how many they plan on releasing a week on their store and on what day? Lol
I know they don't "owe" us anything, but we're all loyal customers waiting to buy. And most of us don't get to sit around at work and watch Twitter, the forum, etc with credit cards in hand.

Yeah, I'd have to agree there. They definitely need a better system for stocking notification.

At the very least they need to set a schedule and time for the days they plan on doing it.
Although I have noticed that they tend to sell them 2:00 p.m. or 4 p.m. depending on the day (Mountain time)

As evga has stock available, they post on this thread, twitter, and Facebook, and then send out a notification from the auto notify. Would you like them to knock on your door as well, since they are already sending out way more notices that most companies?

Well amazon isn't telling us right now either. But none. Again, I prefaced this in an earlier post that they don't owe us anything. I'm purely saying that a lot of the frustration we're feeling would be alleviated if they did.
If they scheduled and told everyone the day and time and I still didn't get one, I would be a lot less upset because I would feel like I had a fair chance.
"Life's not fair"
I understand that, I'm just saying EVGA would have a lot less upset people.
P.S. As a blue collar individual I don't get to work on or around a computer all day. I have a cell phone that MIGHT tell me when there's stock. I still can't get Jacob's tweets to audibly notify me.

I wasn't trying to change the conversation into a grammar related discussion, I merely wanted to know why I frequently had to Guess at what you were saying. Now you've explained it to me, so it makes sense. Is that a problem? So, back on topic. As far as I'm concerned, EVGA is no different from any other manufacturers right now. Even Asus (Who strongly emphasized their fully automated manufacturing process with their new STRIX 10's series cards.) is struggling to meet the stock demands of us consumers. So, I would advise that everyone just sits back, and wait a month or two for stock to finally become more readily available.

I say wait for the 1080ti, since it will definitely have a ton of cores when released. The Titan P (phone tried to change P to Poker, and I actually caught it lol) will provide the failed cores that will go toward the 1080ti. Hopefully when Nvidia delays the 1080ti for 6 months after the Titan P, they will have built up plenty of 1080ti core stock.

Was waiting on the Classified until the clocks were released. I'm sure the FTW and Classified will overclock about the same. I have tried for two weeks to grab a FTW with no Success. So I broke down and purchased a sealed FTW from EBAY. Will receive it Monday. I did make a little money on a 1080 OC strix, so not too bad. Paid $810 with 2 day shipping.

So after my attempted order debacle on the site last Thursday, I thought I was going to have to wait and hope Newegg's backorders went thru. But thanks to EVGA's support, we got the problem taken care of! You guys are awesome. Thanks for all the help! It's reasons like this that keep people coming back. The launches are annoying and hectic but when you have people that seem to care about the company and the product, it really helps. My GTX 1070 FTW is on the way. I should have it Thursday. In hindsight, the Newegg preorder was going to be released just a bit later but I was able to cancel it and just stick with the EVGA purchase. Thanks again!

You are right about that, and I am a good example. I have experienced this type of customer support from EVGA that at times go above and beyond, and for that I am extremely grateful. I have been a loyal customer of theirs, for both mainboards and GPU's for several years now. They certainly can have problems just like everyone else, but from my experience have the fewest and are the best at resolving any that may come up.

I can't give that exact information for Europe. All I can tell you is that there should be another EU shipment within 2 weeks. This is what EVGA has told me. Only EVGA EU determines which retailers and distributors receive the items. If you have an opportunity to make a preorder that would be your best strategy should your retailer/webstore permit it.

The best strategy would be to have a preorder/prepurchase 1st hand, and then monitor the eu.evga.com site like a nolifer and snatch a card that way. Those are the only two options if you ever want to see a card this month. GL young fellow Swedish padawan.

I think ben stated on overclockers.co.uk that after last weeks order (about 50 units arived Friday) there next shipment would be the following thursday (with about the same number of units). I would imagin it would be the same for sweden. Hopefully there is enough in the next shipment for you.

Please EVGA, put the priority on the pre-orders first and coordinate with worldwide resellers. At this moment if you take new orders it will put stress on the already high demand. I'm still waiting for 1080 FTW and 1060 is already announced :(
