I got a receipt for the 1080 FTW and my CC charge is in pending for the full amount, so hopefully I am good to go.
Hopefully that puppy ships out tomorrow. 
 
Edit: Well when I click on the order in order history, order status says "awaiting approval", so keeping my fingers crossed lol.

How long did it take for the CC to get charged after placing the order?
And did you get email notifications letting you know the order was processed?  I was in such a scramble to try and get the card before it was listed as sold out, I didn't get a change to read everything.  I just saw where i'd see $1 charged until the order was processed or something like that.
 

1. I didn't check my card right away...but both the 1$ charge and the full charge are on hold till the order is approved...i'm guessing that means till it ships the order.
2. Yes, I got an Email with the receipt, and my Evga profile has the order on it as well.
3. Yes, you get a 1 Dollar charge to verify the card, and then when the order is placed, it is removed and the full amount is charged.
 
Crossing my fingers till tomorrow...

But how long before you got the email?  I placed my order right around 5:30 and I've never gotten a confirmation or anything that an order was attempted.  I've only gotten the $1 charge.
And my order history is still showing 0.
 

I got the notification right as I pressed the "Place order" button...

Your in exactly the same boat as me which I believe is floating up poop creek without a paddle...I think some people had cards yanked out of their carts before getting to the order submission page but we got the orders submitted before the system realized they were out of stock which is why there is no further activity for us.

About the only thing I can recommend is that you get a 1070 SC off of newegg, and use it for a few months. Then sell it for say 400 USD, and take a slight loss....then buy a 1070FTW...although in the time that it would take for one of those to ship, you might as well wait another week or two and see if the FTW's show up again...

Guessing they'd ship your card in a reasonable timeframe and generally care that you were a customer.

Those of us who were lucky enough to order a FTW 1070 on EVGA today benefit by having it shipped right away...I would hope. Because it was "In Stock" Instead of on "Back Order" like Newegg.

Yes, all $1 verification holds will fall off as soon as the bank releases them.  If the order is successfully placed then you will be charged immediately and the order details will also be emailed to you.

EVGA GTX 1080 FTW is currently available at ebuyer.com but they just put the price up to 722.99 pounds from 659.99.  The original expect delivery date was 22nd Jul. Hope Amazon UK will get their stock quicker as well.

That's a really outrageous price hike haha When I was searching for cards 2 weeks ago, eBuyer had a 1080 FTW for 599 pounds for delivery on 22 July.. so... rip price. I got one on here fortunately..

My 1080 FTW still shows pending verification this morning and full amount in pending on CC. Hopefully it gets shipped out later today.

Same question to you.  How long did it take between the $1 charge and the full amount charged?   I think I need to contact sales as I don't think my order was processed.  :(

It was not long, within the hour I think. The full amount is in pending on my CC, not gone all the way through yet.

Wow, Newegg Canada shipping is really slow.
Looks like 13 days for delivery for ground shipping via Purolator.

 
Have you read the noticed about Purolator. Delay in delivery.
