The shirts all arrive in Large. They would have to open every box individually to change just a shirt for every user, which would be extremely detrimental to shipping times.

Not sure about the ticket thing.

Thank you guys. I'll just hang it on my door  About the ticket, you gotta be 21 y/o. But is that the same for EU citizens? Here you may do all the legal stuff at 18. It would be a bummer, since i turn 21 in may 2018.

I plan to hang the shirt behind my monitor. It will probably cut down on some glare from my bright white walls!  Also let us know how much better the 1080 TI is than the 980 TI

I have everything installed and running but for some reason the displayport on my monitor doesn't like the mini displayport adapter. It just doesn't work. I have the original ASUS Rog Swift monitor.

My question is when will we expect to see the standalone hydro copper blocks for the 1080 ti's, while granted I don't currently have the money to do so, I'm waiting to see how much the kingpin variant of the block will cost before I pull the trigger. It also be vaguely silly to throw the kingpin card in and sell off my 1080 ftw hydro copper without hooking the kingpin into the loop

Ugh... It says on the page
  • Single-slot capable with Hydro Copper Waterblock**
But it doesn't say if the ftw block fits or not. I asked customer service but they didn't know either. Can someone please shed some light if the block is compatible or not? I find it kinda odd that the compability list doesn't mentions anything regarding 1080 ti cards but there's a 1080Ti FTW3 WITH a Hydro Copper... what gives?!

The blocks between the ftw3 and kingpin cards should be different given the distance between the gpu die and the vrm being much larger. This also without mentioning the the extra sli finger and the additional terminals and their positions on the right side of the card. Of course for all I know the memory vrm itself could be in a whole other place on the board as well!

True, customer support got back to me just now confirming it wouldn't fit. So... when will the hydro copper for this card become available then? Jacob?

Not that satisfied i must admit, this is after a 1 hour gaming session playing The Division everything maxed out. My FPS avg was around 110 at Full HD (yes i'm a pleb with a 1080Ti K|NGP|N only having 3x1080p) I don't know why my Voltage and power is so low. Got a thread about it, and i hope it can be fixed, else i just RMA this card and get a FTW3 with waterblock... It does the same as my old FTW3, but clocks a little bit higher (FTW3 2076, KP 2100) and has more issues.

For what valid reason would you be allowed to RMA it in exchange of a different model?  I think the word you are looking for is "return", not RMA.  An RMA typically does not allow for an exchange to a different model.  A return, on the other hand, is a refund which typically charges you a restocking fee.

It does the same as my old FTW3, but clocks a little bit higher (FTW3 2076, KP 2100) and has more issues.

"More issues".  Care to elaborate?

As with Kingpin cards of previous generations -- especially more recent previous generations -- I think this will be a common complaint and frustration for people who bought the Kingpin card for reasons other than what it was designed for.  The majority of people SHOULD NOT buy a Kingpin card and will not be happy with the Kingpin card.

Reason for RMA: Terrible coilwhine, BIOS not properly, loud noise coming from the fans or bearing. Logo has minor scratches on it but not really noticeable.
Like, it's a perfect GPU. But i just don't feel like it's doing it's job here, while i cannot take advantage of the BIOS and the noise is unbearable.

I understand that this is not just a card, it's a high-end well designed OC card. But if it's not working properly as how it is advertised, it is acceptable to make an RMA for the product.
I've had 3 cards now, 2 FTW3's and 1 KP. First one was DOA, 2nd one had many scratches on it, and the KP has these issues. I've been waiting a long time for these cards to come out and they all dissapointed me.

Ok, fine, but you will receive a Kingpin card of the same model in return.  You said that you want to RMA the Kingpin card for a FTW3 model in return.  You can't upgrade or downgrade through the RMA process.  Upgrading or downgrading will require you to either return a product or sell a product and then use the money gained (net lost) to purchase the alternate product.

I do not mind, i can just buy a different card in the meanwhile or use my old MSI 980Ti Gaming. I am aware of how an RMA process works, and how a return process works. But the issues i have, are most likely caused by a defective card (unfortunately, because it's litteraly a beast of a gpu).

I contacted the support by phone. EU was closed, so i got transferred to the US support. They told me that the card, as i described, is defective. He offered me a new card or a refund. I am fine with it, but unfortunately, i have to wait another two weeks to actually get my issues solved with another card. Really disapointing but they can't do much more than that.

Welp, guess this means my card was defective too since I'm having the same issues across the board. Probably some sort of karma after hounding Jacob for the past couple weeks about a release date lmao.

I think it would be smart to wait at least a week for the bugs to be worked out prior to initiating a RMA due to apparent firmware issues.  It is very plausible that the firmware "issues" aren't really issues and can be corrected with a Precision update or firmware update.  It's likely that the replacement would behave the same until the firmware and software is worked out.  Fan bearing noise and coil whine though, that's a different thing.

Yeah not being able to OC it for a few extra frames until a firmware update is pushed isn't bugging me too much. It's more the grinding sounds coming from the fans even after pushing them down into place lol. That, and they seem to randomly ramp up to 100% every minute or so, regardless of the fan profile and settings. I'm sure it was just Jacob saying "this'll teach him to tweet me daily", then jamming some debris in there

Deja Vu...

This seems to be the same case where an LN2 based card used on air is not working on air as people expected. This seems to be the 4th generation of these sort of complaints.

Contact Kingpin through the forums.kingpincooling.com website, and get his attention about the bios issues. He may be able to work through them.

As far as the air cooler.. I've got no clue why people still buy a kingpin card for any air use other than a quick test to make sure the card functions. I have been curious about this for years now, after I bought the 980 kpe and it was bad on air but fine with water. It still wasn't special on water either.

With ln2 and dice, they are great, but not worth their cost when it comes to air or water.

Deja Vu...

This seems to be the same case where an LN2 based card used on air is not working on air as people expected. This seems to be the 4th generation of these sort of complaints.

As far as the air cooler.. I've got no clue why people still buy a kingpin card for any air use other than a quick test to make sure the card functions.

Unfortunately we don't have much of a choice due to the fact that the blocks will not be released for at least a couple of months. In the meantime, I don't think it's unreasonable to assume that we could use the $1000 card as it was shipped, temporarily, without physical issues such as the fans. I'm sure most of us did not buy them to keep in the box for a couple months waiting for the blocks.
