Unlikely, if there are pre-orders from Amazon it will likely be from scalpers that will ship it out once they get their pre-order from EVGA with a $200-300 premium. I noticed that with the FE cards on Amazon.ca.

Can I get a quick confirmation that those are the correct dimensions? The SC and SC black, also have the same ones listed under dimensions. My GTX 980 ftw is also the same. Just want to make sure, because the 3 fan thing scared me into thinking I might need a bigger case.
The ftw3 dimensions are wrong in the specs. The only thing thwy have available at this time is a rendering, so final measurements will come when the release the actual card.
It is NOT the same size as a reference card.

It's always a fiasco has been as long as I can remember. That's part of the fun for me lol. Frustrating at times but I have sli 1080's so it's not like I have to have them but I want them. I like watching people act like the world stopped turning over it.

The only reason I have waited for the FTW3 is because of the length. The Asus and others are too long for my case. The specs say 10.5 inches in length which is what I have now with my EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 06G-P4-4995-KR 6GB SC+ GAMING w/ACX 2.0+.
Now I read that the specs are wrong?
If this is true then I would have been super pissed if I had ordered it and received it and it not fit.

Did they take away the free For Honor or ghost recon promo? The Prepare for Battle EVGA promo page still lists 11G-P4-6696-KR as eligible part number, but the offer no longer appears on the product page for me

What are everyone's thoughts on the SC2 vs FTW3?
Specifically, for someone not planning on doing any crazy overclocking, are you getting anything out of the extra price and wait for a FTW3? The SC2 seems to have the full iCX implementation and the same features minus a fan and higher power phase, etc.

@bkc6j I currently have a GTX 1080 FTW ACX 3.0. After giving it plenty of consideration while both the FTW3 and the SC2 were in my cart, i just couldnt see why i would want to wait a few more weeks for the FTW3 when performance and features were pretty comparable minus the 2 x 8 pin, higher power draw, extra fan, and slightly higher base and boost clock speeds. If the SC2 didnt have all the bells and whistles of the ICX cooling, RGB, etc, i probably would have grabbed the FTW instead. Price was not a factor in my decision at all. No matter what anyone chose, im sure all of us will be happy in the end.
