Exactly. The classified will have 2 x 8pins as well. The difference between the FTW and classified is VRM module count. The classified has always used 14+3 vrm (14 core vrm modules, and 3 memory vrm modules) that does nothing for air overclocking, but can help a tiny bit on water cooled.
The ftw usually has 2 extra vrm over the reference card, but on the 1080, they doubled it from 5+1(reference) to 10+2(ftw) and classified kept 14+3.
The kingpin uses the 14+3 as well, but there are other major changes also, like vram heater for subzero cooling, vdroop switches to apply an extra 50mv of power, different lighting, split hest soreader so the vrm can keep its spreader while the vram is uncovered. Lots of changes that are useless on air.
Ok , i'll go with the FTW3 if it's available end of this month or April, if not i'll go with the SC since i don't watercooled i don't need the Classified . Thx for all the info ! I appreciate it .

Newegg went from 32 pages deep for "gtx 1080 ti" search just before 6am PST, then to 53 pages deep just after 6am PST but nothing showed up...called them and they were useless. Anyways, will check back at the top of every hours. All brands gonna sell out super-fast...

Yeah, just saw that and that's why I asked which was better. Gone now, but it's a 15 minute walk from my office. Might make a trip down for local pickup if possible.

B&H is a fantastic store to buy from...always been super-happy with their professionalism, speed of service, and killer pricing. Samsung 960 Pro can't be found cheaper from any online retailer...they're even beating ebay.
