BruceFlea420 Hi, thanks for posting these. Where he says' ENSURE THE PART NUMBER MATCHES.' Where do I find the part number of my card?
It is on the backplate of your video card for sure, not sure if it is anywhere else.

is the BIOS Update for Micron Ram Cards only or also for Samsung RAM? EDIT: You can install it, but this release is targeted mainly at Micron users. Like EVGA already has answered that this update can also be used for Samsung Ram Users but mainly is intended for Micron users there is one question left. What are the changes coming with that update. Ram Timings? Ram Voltage?

Hello to everyone, i have EVGA gtx1070 SC ACX 3.0. Just updated bios, but nothing happened. As you will see in my screenshoot, the bios version was old, it didn't change. And one more question: as you see in other screenshoot that i have found on other user, at his precisionX version 6.0.7 showin that he has GeForce GTX1070SC, and he has "K" mode too. On my precisionX not. what happened here?? Please help me. And one more thing: why i can't captture images with precisionX, i am pressing button i have register, but nothing happened.

I would not recommend running this BIOS update if you don't have an EVGA card; each manufacturer should be releasing their own update, so I would waiting or contacting the company that made your card. Installing a non-compatible BIOS can permanently damage your card.

Yes, it will not flash on any other cards. Also every card uses different VRM and hardware, so it is not a good idea to use other vendors BIOS's.

Are you using an AMD platform? I noticed your subvendor is not recognized.

OctavianH @EVGA_JacobF: Is there a way to flash this bios update to a dual-BIOS SLI without removing the cards? I can try directly with nvflash tool if someone advises me about the parameters. (of course, first update the default bioses and then switch to secondary bioses and repeat). What is the easiest way for us to do it? PS. On the BIOS switch, which one is the bios0 position and which one the bios1? I have to admit I haven't checked the switch until now (1month of usage)
On SLI machines it will flash both cards. BIOS 0 is the default position.

Worked as a charm on SLI. Both Masters are on the new version with one single flash. I'll flash tomorrow the secondary BIOSes. I do not plan to make any OC today, I do not see a problem to let the secondary on the previous version.

Good news for me so far. Had major flickering on desktop and during anything. Installed new vbios, Set max performance in Nvidia control pane and a couple of more settings in there per Deathangel74 on 2nd page. Uninstalled drivers by DDU. uninstalled gforce experience and Precision x oc. reinstalled latest drivers and Precision x oc. not Gforce experience. Did not try to overclock FTW card. No flickering or artifacts through this, . and a Unigine Heaven benchmark score of 3075. First anything on this card as I have no games installed on this rig yet. Thanks for your help.

sometimes cards can't even overclock 50 mhz more than the boost out of the box... so his gpu core is just fine

I have a FTW version running stable at +650 memory and +100 core, with Samsung VRAM. Tried to push to +700 in memory and +100 core clock but it couldn't handle. I was not knowing about the issue with micron's VRAM, but luckily I got a Samsung model, so no need to update here.

can confirm it works. Micron mem couldnt get more than +300 without complete pc crash. just did heaven for 10+ mins with a benchmark with no crash with +500. think im happy with that. might mess with it more later

Hey,
I flashed my GTX 1070 FTW primary and secondary correctly and double checked everything. But I got still the problem that the fans in the primary bios, which should be the "non-aggressive", are spinning at idle. Can anyone address this problem or tell me if evga is on the case?

Yes several times but the problem still exists. I tried to correct the fan curve, but the fan curve behave the same as on the secondary bios. I thought about to reflash the bios but I am not sure if this will solve the problem.
