I am using Google translation. I am sorry if I can not read it. I applied on February 11 when EVGA announced ICX upgrade. The procedure still remains pending, but we have not received e-mail and other contacts. However, some of those who applied for ICX upgrades on dates later than me seem to have already received replacement items. We have heard that ICX upgrades process in order of application and it takes up to several weeks, but already more than 30 days have already passed. On the way, I contacted support from the EVGA web site but we have no reply. I applied for the EVGA GTX 1080FTW ICX upgrade. In another thread of this forum, GTX 1080 Classified owners who had been with Stay Tuned for a long time are promised to upgrade to the new product GTX 1080 Ti. We have been on standby for about the same period. Is it unrealistic to seek similar measures?

There are separate queues for region / card type. cdburrus
^^ So much this. That's why I ended up selling the FTW2. Much as a step up even to a reference card would have been nice, I decided I'd rather just get what I could for my card now before prices dropped and be able to buy whichever one at my leisure rather than wait in possible step up purgatory for who knows how long.
While it's great they are doing the ICX upgrade and the step-up, the combined queues just make it too painful and impractical. I'll go ahead with the ICX since the FTW card carries with it a bad rap, but from there I'll likely just sell the ICX card. I suppose I'll evaluate the step-up queue at that time but I'm sure it'll be many months, and I'm not waiting until the next card arrives to receive that. Already bought and am using an NV branded 1080 Ti.

About to Step Up my GTX 1080 FTW 2. Since we can list the original retail price from EVGA's store, can anyone confirm what that price was? I'm unsure. I think $679, right?

I can confirm that the price they used for me was not 679, but ~650. Only costed about 60 total for the entire upgrade, including return shipping. Of course I live less than an hour from the California RMA department, so location may affect that cost.

Did you put 679 and they lowered it themselves?

Actually, I put the current price(after the universal 1080 price drop) and they raised it. Cannot hurt to place 679, they won't deny you, they will just shift the price.

Oh, that's nice. Thank you. How did you go about the proof of purchase receipt in the next stage prior to approval if your receipt is technically for the $100 upgrade?

I have an answer for that too actually. Contacted EVGA about it and received a reply telling me that they already have the proof of purchase and further action is not necessary.

EVGATech_ChrisB crazyg0od33, I can confirm that the price used for the Step-up value on the ICX upgrade cards is the M.S.R.P. price originally listed on EVGA.com and not the newly updated price. We are working to have the invoice show this pricing on the EVGA account and I expect this to be completed sometime next week. Thank you for your patience.
What was the original MSRP?

Hello. I did not find a place to ask about the end of the promotion that I participated in the EVGA of 1080 FTW2. Generally they post down the winning entry but in this case only shows that the promotion has ended for the duration. Anyone know where I'm looking for the result?
