Utilize the search feature. I'm on a cell phone, so its frustrating jumping through excessive hoops when all I'm going to do is use the forum search. Make sure to search the 10 series forum, and make sure the search isnt locked to the last 30 days (bottom of the forum page, it will say 30 days, click that, change it to 365, and search only the 10 series forum). Typically, it would be the "nice" thing to do to just post the link, as it only took me 15 seconds to find it while using my phone, but teaching someone to be independent is way smarter for everyone.

I know how you feel. When I asked about the Classified cards, I got the answer; "Please, be patient. If evga is going to do an upgrade for them, it will be separate more than likely. Have patience."
Yes, I said have patience because this keeps getting posted over and over. When EVGA makes an announcement, everyone will have that information. Until then, EVGA has not made an announcement, which means that noone can answer what is going to happen.

Mine is actually a 1070 ftw dt.. The aggravating part is evga told me they have not even produced/ have any of these yet.. I understand the demand as the other cards they have made but why offer something that hasn't been made yet?

For those wondering about stepping up to a 1080 Ti, Nvidia's about to start their GTX Gaming Celebration Livestream (10PM EST, but it hasn't started yet as of 10:14) where they're expected to announce the 1080 Ti. I wonder if it's coincidental that the ICX upgrade program ends today, too. Unfounded guesses aside, I appreciate having the chance to step up if it does release soon. Update: YouTube stream is a mess, but Twitch is working smoothly.

We'll see, but beats not being able to step up at all. Also, the first thing announced on the GTX Gaming Celebration Livestream tonight was Nvidia has immediately dropped the base price of the standard 1080 cards by $100 to $499 MSRP.

Ahh, apparently its the msrp of the card at the time of shipping. So people who already got them may get 1080ti step ups super super cheap.

Assuming the 1080 Ti isn't obscenely expensive. Nvidia's already claiming it's 35% faster than the standard 1080 and faster than Titan X running at stock. I'm perfectly content with my ICX FTW2, but if the step up is within an affordable price, whenever it happens, it's enough of a performance difference for me to consider the jump. UPDATE: Price just announced. 1080 Ti is $699! Comes out next week!

That would be really messed up if they give people different prices for the same cards.

Since I'm in Pending Approval still...Can we just "Step Up" to the 1080Ti instead of doing 2 transactions knowing we will go to 1080Ti for price difference since it gives us Step Up with this "ICX Upgrade" which is extremely awesome of EVGA for allowing?

Yep! Now just have to wait for EVGA to list their options. I suspect the lower-than-expected price is to counter AMD's Vega announcement. Looks like a 1080 Ti thread will be in order soon. Had i known it'd be this soon to release, I'd have likely left the FTW2 unopened, but I'm not about to complain at all about enjoying it for as long as I have it!

Hmmm! So the 1080TI is priced at $699. The 1080 Classified is still at $749 on the EVGA website. I got my Classifieds for $699 at Microcenter. That means I can step-up for free? That's assuming that EVGA doesn't mark up their 1080TI's knowing the demand is going to greatly exceed the supply for who-knows-how-many weeks..., or months! I imagine the other partners with Nvidia might also do the same. I purchased my 1080's on 12/16 and registered them on 12/18, so I have approximately 16 days to start a request for a step-up, assuming that they don't put off actually putting the cards on sale for, oh...., say...., three weeks or so. I may sound a bit cynical, but is that $699 the Nvidia price? Until we see the EVGA price..., and availability, of the EVGA 1080TI's, I may be out of luck again. At this point, anyone who is on the waiting list for an ICX replacement for their cards, after paying $100 in addition to their purchase price, might not be too happy if they can buy a 1080TI for less than what they've already spent.

That was the Nvidia-stated price for what must be the base model. I bought my FTW back in August, so I didn't mind paying the upgrade price to ICX this far into my ownership. Even if the Ti wasn't due to come out for ages, I'd have been thrilled with the ICX. This is just icing on the cake.

For the ACX->ICX upgrade program, it says: •EVGA iCX cards received through the iCX Upgrade program are eligible for the EVGA Step-Up program for 90-days from the date the iCX Upgrade product is shipped to you. For EVGA Step-Up purposes, the value of the iCX Upgrade will be based on the MSRP value of the respective iCX graphics card listed on EVGA.com. It doesn't specify when the MSRP value of the card listed on EVGA.com is calculated, though. 1. Is it when you signed up for the ACX -> ICX program? 2. Is it when your ICX has been shipped to you? 3. Or when your 1080Ti is available to step up to? Depending on which one it is of those 3, for example, to go through the base 1080 ACX (price you paid doesn't matter) - > EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING iCX (currently $639 MSRP) -> base EVGA 1080Ti ($699 I'm assuming) step-up path, you will have to pay a minimum of: 1. All pay $159 and up 2. People that already received ACX -> ICX upgrades pay $159 and up, people that receive them as of tomorrow (or whenever the GTX 1080 GAMING iCX drops to $539 on the site) pay $259 and up 3. All pay $259 and up My guess is it will be number 3, since the iCX card I will be receiving (the GTX 1080 FTW2 DT iCX) doesn't even have an MSRP listed on the site yet. Many other cards in the iCX upgrade program still don't have prices listed on EVGA.com Might as well sell your GTX 1080 ACX now and just buy a GTX 1080Ti if it will take you a minimum of $259 to step up to one at the same grade...

Not necessarily! The ICX upgrade page states that the step up will be based on the MSRP of the card you upgraded to. Example...the FTW2 ICX is listed "right now" at $679, so one would assume that you can upgrade to the TI for $20 plus shipping. However, the step up might not start until 3/10 and the MSRP of the base 1080 is dropped by $100. That may also effect everything in the 1080 line. So the $679 FTW2 could end up $579. Then you make up the difference.

But isn't step up NORMALLY based on what YOU paid? Meaning for this to be fair, EVGA needs to honor the MSRP at time of shipment for your iCX cards... That's how I see it, at least. Of course, that's mainly because I want a $50 step up and not a $150 step up lol, but it seems wrong to change how the entire process works just for those who already paid $100 to upgrade

Blablock My evga 1080 ftw has been in pending approval for over 2 weeks now. The Icx upgrade ended on the 28th and it still shows pending approval. Not sure what to do
Wait. You are in queue.

crazyg0od33 But isn't step up NORMALLY based on what YOU paid? Meaning for this to be fair, EVGA needs to honor the MSRP at time of shipment for your iCX cards... That's how I see it, at least. Of course, that's mainly because I want a $50 step up and not a $150 step up lol, but it seems wrong to change how the entire process works just for those who already paid $100 to upgrade
Second bullet point from the bottom. If you did the ACX to ICX upgrade...your card's value will be based on MSRP as listed on the EVGA website

yes - but is it the MSRP now ($650) or are they gonna drop the price to say $500 right before offering step up and say "now you owe another $200" I know that they will be doing that (most likely - it is a business after all), but IMO doing the upgrade is a "purchase." And step up goes off of MSRP at time of purchase. So yes, they will always be going off of MSRP on EVGAs site, but is that at the time of purchase, like every else who buys a card and does step up, or at the time of step up? Again, if they drop the price, and it's a $200 step up, so be it - that's better than $700 for a new GPU. And I doubt I'll get $500+ for my SC2 now that the Ti was announced - but I would very much like the step up to be based off of MSRP now, since that's when I "purchased" my GPU
