AngelGraves13 Since there's an investigation into the lost 1 lb package, I fear that now they think that they've shipped me my graphics card and won't actually ship it out, so I'll be getting nothing for my RMA.
I would wait until 9am PST to call in tomorrow, this will give the office a chance to open, and they can get you the most up to date information at that time.

It went missing at 8 PM on Friday night, and it's been a hectic weekend trying to figure things out with eVGA and UPS over the phone. They received my old 1080 FTW on the 21st and I paid for the upgrade with $0 shipping option (slowest) and got an email that a package would be delivered on 2/24. That seemed odd to me, but I live in Los Angeles, CA, so didn't think it was too odd because I'm not too far from Brea, CA.

EVGA main office is not open on the weekend. Its a little more difficult for aupport personnel to get information when the office isnt open, so hopefully they will be able to help more tomorrow once they are open.

I just submitted my request for the ICX 1080 FTW. Major question though....the T-Shirt. Looks like a #9 on the front. What's the meaning?

I hope someone can post what was in their 1 LB package. It obviously can't be the video card.

If UPS isnt updating the weights, that could be an error on their part. The package shows reference number 2: model number of whatever card should be coming.

Mine is due to be delivered by 2PM EST (and my UPS deliveries usually come before then), so I'll update as soon as I see what the mysterious 1lb package ends up being. UPDATE - 11:54 AM EST: My EVGA box just arrived. It's the videocard and the t-shirt, so ignore the 1lb notation.

FYI, for those wondering about the automatic product registration, the included packing slip includes the following remarks: "Your EVGA product should be automatically registered to your account already. Please log in to EVGA and verify the serial number registered matches the product you have received. If the serial number of the replacement in this package does not match the auto-registered product, please contact EVGA Customer Service." My info online is still unchanged, so I figure they may still be catching up on getting it updated. In fact, mine still says "Preparing to Ship Product". I'm not going to manually register this one without giving them a few days or checking in with them first.

There's a dedicated thread about my ups woes, but I'll just sum it up here.
Someone called me and told me they had my package. It was delivered to the wrong address. Really nice guy.
Opened the package and video card and t shirt were inside.
All is good now.

Not in all cases. Per my earlier posts, I received my card today and not only was it not yet registered, the site still had its shipment listed as pending. I had to phone them to have my records updated.

I've gotten my FTW2 installed and have been putting it through some basic tests. The new fan behavior is definitely going to take some getting used to, but it's not bad. After installing the ICX version of Precision XOC (which immediately updated the card's BIOSes automatically) I've made the following observations with my case open: 1) The fan(s) will spin briefly during system boot then stop. And they don't spin again at all, not even at a low speed. To ensure they were working properly and would behave when needed, I ran 3DMark Time Spy which triggered both fans shortly into the first test. As soon as all the tests were completed, the fans spun back down to a stop as the card cooled. I was not running Precision XOC at the time. 2) Running the ICX version of Precision XOC (at least the first time) didn't spin up either asynchronous fan. As someone else had stated, even though the Precision software starts with auto fan control set, it didn't kick in until I disabled the auto setting then re-enabled it. From that point on, the fans both started spinning and do so every time Precision is launched. As soon as Precision is closed, the fans stop. Having Precision start when Windows boots will force the fans to spin on a regular basis. Since I don't game daily (and don't always play intensive ones when I do), I don't feel the need to enable Precision's option to auto-start with Windows at this time. I actually like knowing that there's no wear and tear on the fans (even though the EVGA warranty is great) when not needed. I'm not seeing any reason to be alarmed about the fans sitting idle in the interim with the card BIOS doing its job based on detected temps. Is anyone experiencing any different behavior with their ICX cards?

(which immediately updated the card's BIOSes automatically)? From what Number to New Number? It Forced a Bios Update on your Graphics Cards?

cdburrus I've gotten my FTW2 installed and have been putting it through some basic tests. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to check the original BIOS version since I installed Precision almost immediately and got the "updating" BIOS messages, but according to GPU-Z, my FTW2's BIOS is currently 86.04.3B.40.80. An additional finding, running 3DMark with GPU-Z on and Precision off, is that the GPU fan starts spinning when the temp gets to about 63 C. Whenever the temp drops below that, the fans stop until that threshold is reached again. I watched it spin up and down 5-6 times during Time Spy and Fire Strike.

The zero decibel fan feature is supposed to shut off the fans below 60c. Sounds like that is functioning like it is supposed to.

It's working very nicely. Temps maxed out at about 72-73 C during the tests.
