No clue why. But I came back to this over a year later because I was able to flash my 3080 LHR FTW3 to the regular 3080 hybrid FTW3 LHR BIOS no problem. But wanted to but never could get the XOC BIOS to flash for the second BIOS slot. Would always say something like "firmware already up to date" Downloaded the corresponding file " XOC version of 3080 FTW3 HYBRID LHR cards w/ Device ID [4898] only or 3080 FTW3 LHR [4897] only",turned off fast boot, shut down to switch the position of the BIOS switch, and it flashed no problem at all. Specifically the file "4898_OC_450W_ovu" in 10G-P5-4898\XOC\2nd_U10830 I already had the "regular" OC FTW3 Hybrid LHR BIOS flashed to that slot just for anyone trying to get this to work and having trouble like I did over a year ago. If someone from EVGA updated the BIOS file to work or something I appreciate it, very happy to have this working.

hi everbody ı have 3080 FTW3 ULTRA GAMING.Before the last bios update (x1 1.1.17), RGB and third fan were working.After updating the latest bios, RGB turned off and the 3rd fan also stopped.Even though I tried all the bios now, it doesn't reset. can you help me

What if I don't have a "fast boot" option" ? I can only see "memory fast boot" under OC settings. Is this the same thing? I have MSI, B450 Gaming Plus Max, and there is no "fast boot" under the "Boot" option.

I downloaded the 4981-KR VBIOS for my GPU and Windows immediately flagged and quarantined it as a Trojan (Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml) with the threat listed as severe.
Unless I'm missing something it seems the links are corrupted.

Here's a couple ways to check: Move the BIOS Switch to OC, then check the BIOS via GPU-Z. If the maximum wattage is 500W, then you have a 3090OC ...I'm on the default xoc 500 watt bios but it hits a power limit after 424watts.. doenclocks the card from there.. max wattage seen is 450/460.The EVGA GeForce 30 Series HYBRID/XOC/Default BIOS is designed for high-performance gaming, its powerful GPU capabilities can significantly enhance I have a 3080 ftw3 ultra and I just installed the hybrid cooler today.
