Imoonpeople Is there any way to get one of these now. I'm not looking to step up I'm just looking to buy a 780 6gb. Amazon is sold out along with newegg and EVGA says auto notify. I see the Zotac cards are available but at a higher cost and also not EVGA. Anyone have a link to a reputable online store in the U.S.? I would like to buy.
NOPE trust me there is nowhere yet, i am on the auto notify and am thinking i will be waiting a long time, the demand for these has went through the roof lately! Btw, there is nothing wrong with zotac if that worries you?

Well it just kills me to pay more for lower clock speeds. I haven't looked up reviews of the Zotac but I just saw it was more expensive for a bit less performance. I also know EVGA's customer service is great and I've been a loyal customer. Has EVGA or Nvidia said anything about when there will be more in stock?

have you tried using the step-up program yet evh? and... I'm not sure. I got mine off of amazon. Amazon says 2 to 4 weeks.. but that's all. They are usually pretty accurate. I'd contact EVGA customer service. They are an amazing company. I wouldn't stray from them.

Ahh.....the other good thing about Step-Up, is you "go to the front of the line", so to speak. If you're in the queue, you most likely will be serviced before Amazon and Newegg get their stock. That's how I understand it, anyway. And yes, it only took around 5-7 days from the time I sent my old card in, until I received the 6GB. Not bad. EVGA's alternative would be to place a "hold" on your Credit Card for the entire price of the 6GB, and then refund your card the difference once your turn-in passes inspection. The problem for most people, is that refund would likely take a decent while to clear your card......so overall, while you're without a video card for 5 days or so, the way they handle it currently really is the best option.

Hopefully us who bought a 780ti sc recently will have an option to step it up if and when the 780 ti sc 6gb comes around. Which should be soon, if companies are gonna be using Ubisofts excuses about unified memory.

I think they already released that they are not making that anymore. They may make the 780 6g but not the TI. I just bought the vanilla TI's instead of waiting for these 6g's to show.

Ehh? Where did 'they' release a 6gb Ti model was not arriving? Also you say they 'may make' a 6gb 780, they already did and people have them and are awaiting more.

Sorry, I meant to say the 780 ti 6gb , not the 780 6gb. Looks like Jacob said most likely no 780 ti 6gb. I am willing to get the 780 SC with 6gigs if it ever goes in stock at the Evga store. Never seen it in stock yet.

Having a 6GB graphics card would be nice. But when a game like Watch Dogs lists a GTX 780 as an Ultra Requirement with a for Minimum, I don't believe we will see the same level of improvement going up 3GB as going from a 780 to a 780ti. I've been using GTX580 SLI (1.5GB) for the past few years, when I see a 980ti on sale - I'll have 2 please, until then I will be content with my new 780ti(s).

isnt that too close to when the 800 series will be coming out? I just bought a 3g 780ti from evga's B -stock and when the 800's come out if they are what i am looking for i will sell the 780ti and get a 880 or whatever model i need.

Same here! I have one 780 SC 6GB, and I'm patiently waiting for restock to purchase another for SLI......that's why they're in such short supply, people are likely snapping up 2 at a time. SLI is where the horsepower to actually USE the 6GB will come into play. Plan on skipping the 800 series, as my pocketbook just can't keep up with the tech :/ 980 Ti will likely be my first upgrade after this build. And I'll probably wait to see if they release a Kingpin version :)

Thanks!! I still have a month or more before I start putting my build together....but would like to have as many parts sitting here waiting as possible! LOL It's not just this card.....EVGA seems to be sold out of most of their product lines right now......at least in the 780 and 780 Ti pages I looked at.

When? I would like to buy one or two more just to smash the Titan Z to Titan Zero . Just like I did with the 760s in Sli vs. a single 780 or Titan.. score wish I beat my new card with the 760s set-up. Now I want to box the Titan Z
