Well I got my backplate today but there is 1 spring screw that will not loosen. I bought a quality screwdriver and torq 6 to avoid stripping screws but this one will not come out. I'm about to get rough with it any tips?

Gonna get one of those backplates as well. They just make the card look more visually appealing.

I am actually #14 and #15. Sucks to have to it one at a time, but at least that way I will have a card to play on during the process.

After fighting and stripping the screw a little I got the damn screw that wouldn't budge out. My card used to be 38c idle 70c load with a 910/2000 @1.05 volt overclock now its 35c idle 68c load. You can feel the backplate is slightly warm and i have a 250mm side fan blowing on it. I think the backplate is worth it especially if you have a side fan blowing on it :) Gonna get the High-Flow Bracket next. 1c-1% fan profile btw

Dualnos, get the high flow brackets along with the backplates. People are reporting load temperature drops of 3-5C with both backplate and HF brackets installed. I can let you know what my drops are when I get my 570s. Shipped my 470s off last Friday so I hope to have the 570s in about 7-10 days.

Yes. but if you could hold on just a bit, the 570 plates are in the works for EU.

It does not fit any edition of the HD. The HD uses a nonref board.

Got my HF brackets and GTX 570s. Unfortunately one of the 570s had to be RMA'd so holding off on putting the plates and brackets on until I get it back and get both installed, making sure everything is running right and getting baseline temps.
 
The 570 is awesome though! Quiet and powerful.

I tried to order 2 and my card declined. Checked bank account and have plenty of funds. EVGA did charge me  -$1.27 two times. Looks like I wont be buying from this site ever. Going to cancel my step up now as well.

These should just already be installed on the cards! Asus hooks it up on the GTX500's! Come on EVGA!

You should contact eVGA directly (and probably your bank). Posting here might get your problem solved, but the direct route is probably the quickest way to render a satisfactory solution. As far as the -$1.27, I believe that might be bank's way of signaling there were charge attempts but were denied. Those are usually placeholders so the bank can quickly identify the transaction.

i had the 1.27 charges on my account as well. I wasn't alarmed but I called the bank to be safe and it turns out it was a verification of funds  that would go away once the order was processed. Once my BPs were shipped, the charge was only for the cost of the item and nothing more. the 1.27 was gone. If I recall NEgg did that to me before too.
