Cool GTX what is the EVGA part number of your GPU ? OS ?
Cool GTX Black Edition ... you mention above Would Not have those LEDs
Paddy32Cool GTX Black Edition ... you mention above Would Not have those LEDsIn that case, why does it say on the 08G-P4-5671-KR manual that this GPU has White LED Logo ? :( https://www.evga.com/products/specs/gpu.aspx?pn=1b36599d-eec9-4de1-8f3a-80998ed252d7It says " LED Logo: Yes (White)"
Cool GTXI do not know what that is all about .. I'll try to do more searching on that part number & see if it is really a "Black Edition"I'm not sure why it says Black Edition looking at that link. "Black Edition GPUs do Not have the same LED layout.. that is why they are "Black Edition"
bob16314Try the NVIDIA LED Visualizer utility just for kicks.
Cool GTX Which EVGA software X1 or XOC are you trying to use ... & version number ? I use the EVGA XOC for my 10 series cards
Paddy32This card is actually already an RMA card. It dates back to early 2019, so it's about 1.5 years old. My initial card was bought in 2018 and after 10 months I had it RMA'd due to one of the fans making a weird noise. I guess i'll send a support ticket and see what they will say. Do I specify that I took the shroud off to check if the pin was connected ?This would mean that I will RMA this card twice. I never had such a problem with other brands, but at least I had great experience with EVGA support.
HeavyHemi Probably not the same GPU as you returned last time. Of course you should let EVGA know your troubleshooting to save time. I think your decision should rest on whether or not the GPU is a stellar performer. If it's just an average overclocking, I might try the lottery RMA and see if I get a better one...on the other hand, you could get a dud that won't run a mhz over stock.
