Maybe this can get a bit higher requirements later down the road for limited stock and new releases.

The elite member is a good way to give the customer a decision to keep their brand loyalty to EVGA. I really like the idea that they are offering alternate color cards to customers just for supporting their brand. At the same time I think that they want to allow anyone into the program and by keeping the requirements semi-low it entices customers to stay in an ELITE Member. Who knows they might add a requirement to stay as an ELITE Member.

Very good question, since it’s been reported that SC2’s are now being shipped and still no word on the Elite Member Exclusive deal.

The only word so far is we have to cancel and order the elite version. I'm waiting it out as we still have a full week left for more details.
 

 
Ok, except what about those people who pre-ordered SC2’s that have now been shipped? Canceling doesn’t make much sense for them (do they send their just received cards back, or what?).

Some SC2s are being shipped but they are behind, I suspect after they get on top of those there may be some news, or maybe some in late May after the FTW3s ship.

I guess once I reach 100 posts (I think my 1080 FTW ACX 3.0 already qualifies me) I will go to the "EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 ELITE GAMING" product page, click on the "ELITE MEMBER EXCLUSIVE" button, and see if I can register.

any word on if the elite cards have a price premium on them ?
or if we will loose the pre order discounts if we change our orders to them ? as i am closing in on the required post count and i NEED my white cards, but not if i have to pay full price for each card (nearly a £200 premium as it stands now lol)

I would love to know this answer also, I really hope it's not more expensive because that would be kinda annoying :/

Well I have been a member here since 2008 when I registered my first graphics card. I got to looking and thinking since I have a 980 Classified that I qualify as elite for these new cards. Mine is a 04G-P4-2988-KR and it figures that my card isn't in the list. The 2987 and 2989 are so why not mine? I haven't posted much during my time and that is my fault. That just busted my poor little bubble. LOL

That seems really unlucky, or perhaps an accidental omission?

Wow that really sucks man, what's the difference between the 3 serial numbers? I honestly think you should be able to apply for it because it is the 980C so I don't really see the difference between the numbers.

 The numbers are just different model numbers for different cards. I don't know what the card differences are. And there are more 980 cards in the list besides these three. Maybe one of these fine folks from EVGA can tell me for sure if my card is included. I think it should be.
