The wait part I don't mind, I just don't want to camp out on the website waiting for preorders to go live and get lucky on a crashing site =/
One would hope the unmatched customer service will be able to help those whom already locked in their preorders.
 
I already asked Jacob if they could just sell the colored shrouds to ELITE members, that way I can just swap mine out. No biggy no problem. But this won't be the case at this time.

that's probably not going to happen. I'm just hopeful that they can release the elite cards just as quick as the original FTW 3s.

This is rather disheartening (if your understanding is correct). I was hoping to be able to swap out shrouds and backplates using the same card for different builds when needed. I'd rather not have to paint/plasti dip.

Just got an email regarding a step up my FTW3 to the elite, would this affect my ship date? and is there a price difference?

May 22nd... sigh... upgraded to the black version.

Weird I got one of those emails as well saying "Thank you for becoming an Elite member" even though I do not qualify for the elite membership yet. Kinda got my hopes up when I saw the email.
Seems as if they are sending those emails generically even to people that are not eligible to upgrade to the Elite version of the card.

I qualify, and I'd love the black out version or the red, but making me wait an extra 2-3 weeks to get a card I've already been waiting for over a month for... doesn't seem very Elite to me... I think I'll just stick with the default card and enjoy it sooner. Plus won't matter if I put it on water :D

On my pre-order it still says the 1st on estimated shipping even after the upgrade don't know if to take that with a grain of salt or not

Pre-ordering did get a price discount.... the new price is $779 !

Wish they would of told us that this whole "ELITE" thing only applied to existing pre orders. Im still a member but I cant order the card. only response i got from them is that "we might start selling them individually at a later date" 

signed up but damn i cant see waiting 3 weeks for black shroud that really isnt even visible in normal mounting position. also not honoring original price seems sketchy to me too. a better backplate would have sold me on it before shroud color.

Those with preorder have first chance, we will have them available for order before that date.

Before the 1st of May? or...
