I was just thinking today that EVGA should buy out CaseLabs or merge so they can make a cooler case together and boom!  I saw the EVGA DG-8 Case on the website.  I like the TV like setup where I can watch my fast video cards that cost me thousands.

"Countdown to pre order" = when the timer reaches 0, you can pre-order. The product doesn't ship until August.

EVGA Power Link will move all of these VGA Power cables to the motherboard tray.
They will be visible only 2-3cm and only if you look on them... from front side like they are not connected at all.
EVGA Power Link is one of smartest tool I saw in last few years for PC...
I think they should become part of every EVGA Graphic Card Package next year.

You see on pictures... only little peace as 24pin from VGA Power cables will be visible.

Lol, as xlbloodlx stated.. That is exactly what the countdown is for. Wouldnt it be pretty foolish to put a countdown timer to preorder, if you can already preorder?

From the looks of it from the above pics...looks like the panel inside that says EVGA will be removable for reservoir/Water cooling options.
Hope it will for those enthusiasts who will be water cooling.

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

I want it but 50 pounds empty means 100 pounds+ with full components. I like to take mine out to the garage about once a month to use air compressor to blow out dust. I am just too old and lazy to lug 100 pounds around. Sadly I am going to pass on this case.

If case is heavy that mean it's quality build.

@ first I was  all over the case, until I kept analyzing it ...Now I'm 50/50 on this case, I like it @ the same time I don't. I can't figure out if it's the front design that reminds me of an old Zenith TV or the off side Square Bulkiness of it...

One perk on it, as I had my hands on one last Friday, is all of the panels are removable and have removable dust filter.  So, depending on the size of your house, pop the covers off, remove the filters, go to the garage, blow them out with the compressor, come back in and reassemble, and that should take you 5-10 minutes, and the filters will weigh less than lugging around even the smallest mITX case, unless you let a LOT of dust build up
Just something to keep in mind.

Since you had some time with this.. can a radiator sit above the frame for a top mounted radiator solution ?

    Nice price for preorder.

EVGA build this case to present their hardware inside on best possible way.
No doubt EVGA motherboard E-ATX and 2 graphic cards look sick inside.
Special with waterblocks and nice cylindrical reservoir.

Yes, shipping should be max 20$ in worse case.
For 3-4 days, this is really unusual price for USA territory.
Shipping is in many situation so low that people don't even notice that.
But this case for 179$ is great option at the moment. People don't need to look in every 5-10$...
That's our EVGA and I'm ready to pay little more if I like something.
They never overprice as Lian-Li example.
    Lian-Li every normal case 400$+...
OK aluminium and they are one of my favorite case brands but every good case is over 400$ and every
single case have some small flaw and you need to ignore some of their not so nice solutions.
I would not even look other cases for E-ATX motherboard and 2+ graphic cards, DG-86 is great.

    Nice price for preorder.

EVGA build this case to present their hardware inside on best possible way.
No doubt EVGA motherboard E-ATX and 2 graphic cards look sick inside.
Special with waterblocks and nice cylindrical reservoir.

Yep! Just over $200 to Colorado. Less $14 for using up my EVGA Bucks.

I want it but 50 pounds empty means 100 pounds+ with full components. I like to take mine out to the garage about once a month to use air compressor to blow out dust. I am just too old and lazy to lug 100 pounds around. Sadly I am going to pass on this case.

Sorry about the delay in reply, but yes it can support a radiator on the top and in the front.  In the top there is framing to mount the radiator to, much like many other cases, mount similarly to my old HAF932, mounting it to the bottom of the upper framing.  You can mount it on top, however some radiators might have a hard time getting hoses back through and into the case.

I would love to know what that cooling solution is from EVGA ,

Case is less than 44 lbs (43.2 lbs to be exact) ---- [ 51.1 lbs is gross (aka) shipping weight with packing materials ]

This is a nice case, but why evga did you not put long enough cables in it for the front panel. Some won't even reach my x99ftw without stringing them through the middle of case. I'm installing a hard line water cooling system and want it to look nice and now I have to buy extention so I can hide cable. You didn't think this one through very good. Also, what a mess this bundle of wires behind front panel is. Poor IMO for the money
