Yup, we are making one last update to the BIOS, then will be posted very limited availability first.

 
What will the updated bios fix? Just a in case a few boards slip through with the older bios on them. I hope the delay is resolved soon.

I live 30 minutes from that store.
I checked the page and it says that they will be delivered to them on the 24th.
 
So, your shipping date will be after that.
The 24th might be the same day they will be available on EVGA.COM

In that case please make sure your board can boot with an amd 7970. I just had posting trouble with an asus sabertooth x79 and my 7970 failing to post lucky they posted a bios update yesterday and it boots now.

      Humm excuse me but, how long will this "very limited availability" last? Im not from USA and ive been trying to buy this motherboard through the distributors of my country but they are usually pretty slow for this things (the availability issue could become an additional slowing factor).

EU ran out of whatever stock they had in yesterday. Performance-PCS had 5 in stock yesterday.

I was very lucky to have the privilege of working with an SR-X and was very impressed by the board I got to stick a pair of 2620 xeons in it and two GTX680's

I put up a very poor build log over at PDXLAN

This is crazy, still here, waiting for the release of the SR-X and no a word from EVGA on it :-( . Unbelievable.
 Not a serious ETA, nothing.
It will be obsolete before it gets released.

Got my SR-X today. Also my two Xeon E5-2687W have arrived. Water cooling upgrade from SR-2 1366 to SR-X 2011 is also here.
The only problem i have is the memory. I want to use 32GB. So it would be 8 x 4GB Sticks to get the Quad-Channel.
Also i always use Registered ECC Sticks (Virtualisation).
So is there a compatibility list for the SR-X? Couldn´t find one on the support page. Also on the Board itself (memory slots)
the sticker says use 1.65V for stability. So if i get 8 x 4GB-12800 Reg ECC 1.35V modules, will that be stable (no overclock)?

Hi.
Ordered it from EVGA Europe after i got a "notify" last Thursday. Today it was delivered via UPS
It seems i got lucky.

I am wondering about the delivery of the SR-X. I was probably one of the first to complete buying it (some 3mins after it became available).
 
When paying via paypal, I didnt supply an address, because paypal already have my address, and supplies that to the receiver of money, when a transaction is made.
 
Now that I heard one European having received it via UPS yesterday, I am beginning to wonder if this (that I didnt supply the address on the order itself (although paypal always sends the address to a transaction receiver)) have affected delivery to me, or something else.
 
It would have been really nice with track&trace details supplied, and if not shipped a mail as to why it wasnt able to be shipped.
 
I sent a PM yesterday to one of the EVGA guys, but have not yet received any answer.

I can now say that I received it from UPS some 20 minutes ago, so, yes, they did indeed have my address, it was apparantly just some 2 days slower than the fastest (here in Europe that is).

So a few weeks ago. I put in a request asking if they are going to allow pre-orders of the SR-X. Well I got a response saying that the SR-X will be available for order by the end of the month. Since that date is fast approaching and the only orders allowed was from the UK site. When will we be allowed to order.
