Haziza Any chance for ATX 3.0 PSUs on CES?
No info at this time. Normally if there are any new products coming Jacob posts this to his twitter account.

BTomov Wow just crazy how eVGA turn from the best brand to something to avoid... Just crazy. "Your EVGA Product #19" i have at least 19 products and i de register at least few in the recent years after i sold them to other people. very loyal customer to eVGA. I was really hoping my EVGA SuperNOVA 1600 G2 will get cable from eVGA , apparently they decided to go out of business completely. So sad!
BTomov Yah thats not the way to treat loyal customers. So in my mind eVGA is committing suicide. I already made up my mind that i wont buy another eVGA PSU. To be honest i doubt ill ever buy another eVGA product and they forced me to make this choice. If you check my post above i've been spending money on evga products for a very very long time.
BTomov Yeah just got my evga cabel from cablemod. To be honest, i dont think ill ever buy anything from eVGA, they can cancel product lines on the wimp of their CEO if his feelings get hurt or for whatever weird reason he can come up. I spend easily over 14K on evga products since the very beginning, numerous SLI Nvidia card combinations Classified motherboards etc... But the whole nvidia fiasco gave me very bitter taste in my mouth. And my friends who we build our computers have the same feelings as well. Its been forever and they didnt even bother to say: Hey we'll have cabel for you in 2 weeks/4 weeks etc. Yeah evga is going down really fast and its sad to watch such a great company dying.
LMAO the trolling is strong in this one! EVGA confirmed last year they will be releasing PSUs with the 12-pin (technically 16-pin) VGA plugs. Given some of the problems that have been experienced with the new 12-pin plug, EVGA are probably wise to wait and see how it plays out. In the meantime, CableMod are filling the gap with some very nice sleeved cables. Not sure how any of this is a big problem, but haters gonna hate I guess. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Wow. Let me start by saying it seems that most of the people writing here have to be unaccustomed to being told to wait. You don't back a company stating you know it, and just expect it to churn out the hot garbage everyone else is putting out because of something new. I have owned a few EVGA PSU's, and the one in my rig now is a 1000w 80+ gold I've had for at least eleven years. It's humming along like a champ since day one through multiple builds from Intel to AMD, and at least six generations of NVIDIA cards to my latest 3090ti FE. I ordered a cablemod 12vhpwr cable adapter for my PSU as well because of the cable clutter. That being said my take on this is that I have, and will continue to trust EVGA to deliver a rock solid product. I'm sure all have noted that some manufacturers have just made adapters to use with their current power supplies while others have created new pcie5.0 power supplies as well. There are a few manufacturers at CES who have announced platinum and titanium grade PSU's as well such as thermaltake and Be Quiet to mention a few. I'm sure we will see the standard range coming out from EVGA in GOLD, PLATINUM, AND TITANIUM, at various power levels (1000,12-13-1600w.) as usual, and they probably wont catch fire by the time they're released either. Here is my personal conspiracy theory on EVGA cards. EVGA sent a single non-4090, 4090 to Jayztwocents. I bet EVGA told NVIDIA: Hey, were putting the power connector on the side so it looks and fits better in cases; NVIDIA: NO! You will jack it up like we did and put it in the middle, RESPECT MY AUTHORITEE! LOL. I guess some believe that the engineers just grab a coffee mug, walk in to the shed out back and come out with a new PSU in a few hours, be patient SMH.

i mean we kinda have been waiting.. patiently. it has been 3 months.. and since evga left the GPU market.. as far as we know its only been doing PSU and MB's. they also said they were doing their best to not lay off too much staff. and while obviously you cant just add twice the amount people and expect something to take half the time.. or to have people taken from 1 project do something else that's completely outside of their knowledge base. ( you see this kind of misconception in video games all the time, where they think "you they have X amount of people, move some to Y", likes it possible to get a concept artist to start coding or something) there is some minimal overlap can be done. we know these things take time. but it HAS been time, and a lot of us come here to see if any updates have been announced. no one here wants EVGA to rush out a product like everyone else does. we just want to be kept in the loop. And every month or so.. its not a bad idea to check back to see if there have been updates and no, not all of us use twitter.

Just checked, post was originated on Sunday, October 02, 2022 12:03 AM. So, 3 months later, not a nibble on progress. If auto makers follow this pace, we would see a new car model every 20 years or so.

Its pathetic really. I think the CEO just unicorned up majorly. Probably wants to retire but doesn't want to see the company run by someone else and rather see it dying slowly or whatever other reason is there, the way I see it, he knew he wasnt going to to 4000 series of Nvidia, if anything all the extra workforce that was free: amazing engineers should speed up the building of the new PSUs not lag behind every other major PSU manufacturer. Its sad the CEO is killing his company(he is the owner as well) probably because he doesn't want to run the company anymore or for whatever reason he is doing what's he is doing.

At the moment I'm using that atrocious 4 pcie to 12vhpwr adapter included with the 4090 when I'd much rather have native PS support for my card. A dedicated cable from my supernova to the card would be a start but even the 3rd party cables are having issues so IDK. My Gigabyte gaming oc will pull in excess of 450w running benchmarks.
MSI MEG Z790 ACE, Intel i9 13900k, G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32gb 6600, ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 420 ARGB in push/pull, Gigabyte RTX 4090 Gaming OC, EVGA Nu Audio, Samsung 990 & 980 Pro's, WD SN850X & Black hdd, FSP Hydro PTH Pro 1350W PS, Windows 11 Professional, Thermaltake Level 20 XT w/Antec Prizm X 120mm argb fans

jpotter Let me start by saying I'm a long-time supporter of EVGA. I'm also a PC gaming enthusiast and I will continue to buy GPUs with or without EVGA in the market. With that said, I want to support a company that has excellent customer service and quality products. With the introduction of the 4000 series from Nvidia...when is EVGA going to have something on the market to compete with other PSU manufacturers supporting the new standard? Greetings from snowy Stehekin, WA! It’s been sometime since your past October 02 commentary! A lot of water has flown under the bridge. Seems like nothing has happened since? EVGA radio silence prevails! I am like many specifically looking for a EVGA 1300w or 1600 ATX 3.0 Titanium PSU with (2) PCIe 12VHPWR connectors. EVGA indeed is way overdue as the ‘12VHPWR connector’ PSU market is already happening and growing. Many have already reached out for the ‘Seasonic PRIME TX-1300W 80+ Titanium and had no problem shelling-out upwards of $500 for it! As such the market is here and EVGA surely can use the cash given the very unfortunate and recent NVIDIA divorce matter! There could really be no better time than right now and with the Z790 KP hopefully soon be arriving in decent in-stock numbers for the weary!

Corsair only just came out with their ATX 3.0 shift PSU so we'll have to see what EVGA decides to do.

rjohnson11 we'll have to see what EVGA decides to do. Many thanks for your response and follow-up note! My current Seasonic TX-1300 Titanium (2-12VHPWR cables included) simply performed stellar over the past few months. Absolutely no complaints and a given 12-year warranty! It’s of course not fully 3.0 compliant which with the associated cost of USD$500+ was not exactly easy to digest! But I was anxious in properly feeding my RTX 4090 and especially given all of the negative publicity being generated. Whether right or wrong? I am currently standing in line for a Z790 KP as I already secured a buyer for my Z690 KP system at our latest computer show and with talking along the folding tables. This said as you can imagine I am poised in having a fully 3.0 series compliant PSU on hand (preferably EVGA) for my new Z790 system. Not having had an easy ‘sales-grab’ however for my present Z690 KP, I would probably ‘hang-on’ to it as in (2023 - 4 th Quarter) the 14th Intel Meteor Lake CPUs are targeting some big performance and efficiency gains besides featuring a brand new core architecture for both P-Cores & E-Cores. Hopefully EVGA will soon come through for me and many other EVGA supporters here with a major new PSU series introduction and availability! Interesting or challenging times ahead for all of us!

I was looking into a random unexpected shutdown, with no recent Windows update to blame it on. ... When I started to wonder if an EVGA 3080 FTW3 12g could cause enough of a power spike to trigger a Seasonic 1300W Platinum psu to hiccup.... Then I started to wonder whether the Hybrid mode could cause it? (nope it is shutoff). Reason I wondered... I had just completed a cross ship RMA of a Seasonic 1300W that hiccupped with a 4090, in another computer, because it was turned on. Then I started to wonder if I should start shopping for a ATX 3 PSU, to use on the 3080 FTW3 12g. MSI says it will handle up to 2600W spikes .... But it only comes with 1 12VHPWR connector?...I think they should come with at least 2.. After all I am running 2 4090's in one case with no problems... HeyMAYBE EVGA should offer cables that would allow you to do that... after all a single EVGA 1600 is doing that already..at least for me they are I am wondering if I could hook another 4090 on the same psu Then...I read your post and found most of my idea's have been discussed already..Sigh...
