Any chance for ATX 3.0 PSUs on CES?

No info at this time. Normally if there are any new products coming Jacob posts this to his twitter account. 

Wow. Let me start by saying it seems that most of the people writing here have to be unaccustomed to being told to wait. You don't back a company stating you know it, and just expect it to churn out the hot garbage everyone else is putting out because of something new. I have owned a few EVGA PSU's, and the one in my rig now is a 1000w 80+ gold I've had for at least eleven years. It's humming along like a champ since day one through multiple builds from Intel to AMD, and at least six generations of NVIDIA cards to my latest 3090ti FE. I ordered a cablemod 12vhpwr cable adapter for my PSU as well because of the cable clutter. That being said my take on this is that I have, and will continue to trust EVGA to deliver a rock solid product. I'm sure all have noted that some manufacturers have just made adapters to use with their current power supplies while others have created new pcie5.0 power supplies as well. There are a few manufacturers at CES who have announced platinum and titanium grade PSU's as well such as thermaltake and Be Quiet to mention a few.  I'm sure we will see the standard range coming out from EVGA in GOLD, PLATINUM, AND TITANIUM, at various power levels (1000,12-13-1600w.) as usual, and they probably wont catch fire by the time they're released either. Here is my personal conspiracy theory on EVGA cards. EVGA sent a single non-4090, 4090 to Jayztwocents. I bet EVGA told NVIDIA: Hey, were putting the power connector on the side so it looks and fits better in cases; NVIDIA: NO! You will jack it up like we did and put it in the middle, RESPECT MY AUTHORITEE! LOL. I guess some believe that the engineers just grab a coffee mug, walk in to the shed out back and come out with a new PSU in a few hours, be patient SMH.

Its pathetic really. I think the CEO just unicorned up majorly. Probably wants to retire but doesn't want to see the company run by someone else and rather see it dying slowly or whatever other reason is there, the way I see it, he knew he wasnt going to to 4000 series of Nvidia, if anything all the extra workforce that was free: amazing engineers  should speed up the building of the new PSUs not lag behind every other major PSU manufacturer.  Its sad the CEO is killing his company(he is the owner as well) probably because he doesn't want to run the company anymore or for whatever reason he is doing what's he is doing.

Let me start by saying I'm a long-time supporter of EVGA. I'm also a PC gaming enthusiast and I will continue to buy GPUs with or without EVGA in the market. With that said, I want to support a company that has excellent customer service and quality products. With the introduction of the 4000 series from Nvidia...when is EVGA going to have something on the market to compete with other PSU manufacturers supporting the new standard?

 
Greetings from snowy Stehekin, WA! It’s been sometime since your past October 02 commentary! A lot of water has flown under the bridge. Seems like nothing has happened since? EVGA radio silence prevails! I am like many specifically looking for a EVGA 1300w or 1600 ATX 3.0 Titanium PSU with (2) PCIe 12VHPWR connectors. EVGA indeed is way overdue as the ‘12VHPWR connector’ PSU market is already happening and growing. Many have already reached out for the ‘Seasonic PRIME TX-1300W 80+ Titanium and had no problem shelling-out upwards of $500 for it! As such the market is here and EVGA surely can use the cash given the very unfortunate and recent NVIDIA divorce matter! There could really be no better time than right now and with the Z790 KP hopefully soon be arriving in decent in-stock numbers for the weary!

Many thanks for your response and follow-up note! My current Seasonic TX-1300 Titanium (2-12VHPWR cables included) simply performed stellar over the past few months. Absolutely no complaints and a given 12-year warranty! It’s of course not fully 3.0 compliant which with the associated cost of USD$500+ was not exactly easy to digest! But I was anxious in properly feeding my RTX 4090 and especially given all of the negative publicity being generated. Whether right or wrong?
 
I am currently standing in line for a Z790 KP as I already secured a buyer for my Z690 KP system at our latest computer show and with talking along the folding tables. This said as you can imagine I am poised in having a fully 3.0 series compliant PSU on hand (preferably EVGA) for my new Z790 system. Not having had an easy ‘sales-grab’ however for my present Z690 KP, I would probably ‘hang-on’ to it as in (2023 - 4^th Quarter) the 14th Intel Meteor Lake CPUs are targeting some big performance and efficiency gains besides featuring a brand new core architecture for both P-Cores & E-Cores. Hopefully EVGA will soon come through for me and many other EVGA supporters here with a major new PSU series introduction and availability! Interesting or challenging times ahead for all of us!
