I'm just looking to buy one, though I'm afraid the shipping will be hellaciously expensive to Europe...

Yeah it will be, which is why I am waiting to buy something along with this ACX cooler to make it worth the shipping + custom fees.

4 x Titans with ACX coolers..... I can only imagine how hot that will get, keep a close eye on the temps deth lol

you are correct sir! it looks like stockers are going back on!

Told you, unless you have massive amounts of air focused on the cards, open air coolers in sandwiched stack config is no go.

Blower or better yet go underwater.

I would say that's expensive, 4 Titan blocks... but then again if you can afford 4 Titans... :D

Watercooling FTW!!!

Works really well with a single Titan. Desktop about 30C, games haven't seen anything above 70C with the fan topped out at 65%. Still throttles when I get to 98/99% power. Hoping for an official bios update but won't wait forever.

Ordered ACX Cooler a couple of minutes ago. I've always been a fan (no pun intended) of dual fan coolers as other manufacturer's have offered out-of-the-box. It was only natural for me to order this cooler. :)

I ordered one as well this morning.  I am only running a single titan with an air vent within a inch so I think it should provide a much better cooling solution.

Received the ACX cooler last night. I must say, this is a fine example of quality craftsmanship. Beautiful design and from what I can gather from various reviews, quite effective at lowering temperatures.

I'm going to hold-off installing the cooler until the Titan Backplate becomes available. I may be waiting awhile as it appears eVGA manufacturing hasn't been able to keep up with demand. It'll be well worth the wait when the backplate is finally available. :)

What did you use to remove the thermal paste? I used isopropryl alcohol swabs on the GPU and it's clean, but the raised barbs or transistors still have some residue/paste on them. Haven't been able to get them as clean as yours look in the photo. Did you use a specific method to get them so clean?

-15 degrees Celsius on ultra load @ 1097mhz

from 85 to 70/75
i have removed the pre-applied tim in favor to the mx-2

the noise is a bit lower

gained around 8% of power because the dual fan consume less than the single stock fan

very good at all

If you're going to use the Liquid Ultra you'd better coat the resistors surrounding the die with something like transparent nail polish or something... that wipes off with acetone/95% alcohol :D in case you want to remove it.

Awesome thank you.

Thats the best of it because my card is very power hungry.

Well im not sure if i use the ultra. Will use first MX4 because the results of andrea are very good and enough. The risk isnt worth it.

better to use the mx-4

ps: one more think..

in idle the fan run too high... solved the problem by editing the bios with the minimum fan percentage set to 20% and maximum to 85% (additional info: the fan curve depend by the min and max fan speed)

Seems good right??
The fans are way more loudly though.

Is there any estimate when the backplate become available in the U.S.?

I've got this awesome looking ACX cooler here that I want to install yet the backplate is still unavailable. Hopefully the backplate will be available soon. :)
