Hi, I was just wondering if my EVGA 780i SLI FTW will support an Intel Core i7 processor? If not, what motherboard should I upgrade to?

So I'll have to buy a new motherboard then... :( I was hoping I wouldn't have to.
Thanks for the help.

Haha, okay, now I don't know which one to get. Only using one GTX 295, 4 GB ram, Vista 32 bit. Don't really know which is best for me, don't know much about computers.

Meant to type 295, oops.

If you want to stay with EVGA, the basic x58 is a good option.  http://www.evga.com/products/moreInfo.asp?pn=132-BL-E758-A1&family=Motherboard%20Family&series=Intel%20X58%20Series%20Family
It's worth the extra money to get the A1 version of the motherboard as you get a lifetime warranty when you register it at EVGA within 30 days.
You can also go the P55 mobo route, a little less expensive and not quite as high performing overall but it really depends on your budget.  You have to get a mobo, processor, and ram when you move from 780i to the x58 or P55 mobos.  If you have a microcenter.com store near you, you can pick up a processor pretty cheap, and you can order the mobo and ram from a ton of places online.

I'd suggest going with a 64bit OS as well.  You will use the full 4GB of ram that way too.
Good luck!
