Ha I don't want the over priced thing. Someone in our Discord does though. I have more common sense then to put $800 into a 3070 Ti when $50 more gets me a 3080 XC3 Ultra.

I would pay $700 for the FTW the $800 they can keep it. Price point makes no sense what so ever!

I see so many peeps queueing for the 3080Ti as well as the 3070Ti. Has gfx cards become like toilet paper and everyone is buying as much as they can cause its limited?? I mean they are in two totally different price brackets and class of cards. I get queueing for all the 3080tis in hope to at least just get one but queueing for different class cards? Are people queueing for just fun or do all yall actually plan to buy all the cards in your queue????
I'm one of those, and I'm on integrated graphics, Intel UHD 630, I don't mind if the card is a 3080ti or a 3070ti, I just need a card that give me solid 1440p performance and I'm not going to buy from scalpers, so the more chances to get a card the better, I'm waiting since January when my last card died.

Yeah its a shame. I guarantee you the conversation totally came up and was discussed at the executive level for sure. LOL. "How can we spin this....... " I wont be surprised at all if the only cards that get lots of drops and shipments are the 3070Ti and 3080Ti going forward for a good while. With a small handful of vanilla 3070 and 3080s here and there. Until this craze normalizes... This is how they will make that BANK!

Not entirely unexpected, Jacob only said there would be more "this week".
Was reading a bunch yesterday regarding the chip shortage in general, and there's quite a few analysts saying it will ease up through the end of this year, be mostly resolved by next year, and that we're through the worst of it. The issues in Taiwan with the drought have mostly passed after a week of heavy rain and fortunately not caused the impact that was being prepared for, so that's another positive. There are some who are doom-and-gloom and saying it won't resolve until 2023, but I'll stay on the positive side.
If it's any consolation, expensive chips are being prioritized, because of course, profit. That's good (in a way) for us.

Apologies if this was asked before, but I noticed the suffix is KL instead of the normal KR (3070ti). Is this how they are gonna market the LHR cards now SKU wise?

I feel like we are all losers in a way accepting the reality of paying high dollars for cards that aren't incrementally that much faster. I remember, back in the day..., when I purchased a GTX8800, that card was TWICE as fast as the next fastest card, and card speeds usually had a good jump between models. Now we are so excited to get a 10% bump and pay a premium over the last card. Despite my sassy attitude however, I am slightly excited about the 3080ti as I may make the jump to 4k gaming. On the games I play I will be able to max them out and get about 75FPS, which for me, 75+ is all about the same (yeah don’t flame me, but seriously I game at 1440p 144fps capped now and I couldn’t tell the difference when I sold my RTX3080 (yeah $2,100 cash…) and went back to a 1080ti. Honestly, no discernable difference in the gameplay. Anywho, this was too verbose. Good luck all on your quest in procuring these cards….

The FTW cards will be the ones produced at high volume because they are easily their highest margin cards. That's the only upside I can see for my abysmal 3080 Ti queue time.

So does this mean that I will not be getting one? All of my other auto notifies seem to have been skipped or no longer shipping. I'm pretty angry now because my R9 390 decided to break after 7 years of use and every single other place in Canada including official stores are scalping for 3x the price...
