This time I tried a trick where people said using your phone hotspot rather than normal network connection. I don't know if that really helped or if I just got lucky.

Its actually the mobile site just loads quicker as it has less clutter. if EVGA had an app to purchase that would be the best solution as there is the minimum traffic to handle 

Sorry I didn't clarify, but I wasn't using mobile, I was using my phone hotspot on my laptop. I also had a screen up on my PC using my normal network connection. Couldn't get the PC to even load the product page but the laptop using hotspot was fine for the first minute or two. Then I couldn't get anywhere on either.

ohh That is interesting- my mobile network at my house is terrible. I have business class fiber and I was able to get in quite quickly. would have been sooner but the xc3 link is/was broken. you and I have very similar que times

WHAT A COINCIDENCE!  THE $800 CARD HAS A NOTIFY BUTTON BUT THE $600 CARD IS NOT WORKING.  It's not like the extra $200 has anything to do with the difference in functionality on the web site.. huh?
 
Come on. It's pretty obvious.  You intentionally prevented people from ordering the one they wanted, so that you could sell everybody a more expensive model that does almost nothing extra on a ti card.  Then you may have even run a DDOS on your own web site to pretend that you didn't have stock.. Then you can mark up your own stock and resell it on an auction site... right?
 
Just tell me.  What's the reason the one link works and everybody here is reporting that the XC3 auto-notify link is missing?   Try to convince me it's not the extra $200 in your pockets.

This queue will be interesting for the 3070ti. Looks like a good amount of people got in early via mobile. Wonder how many cards we are looking at.

I mean, they ARE a business. 

XC3 for all intents and purposes, was a "launch edition" and was only available for a few minutes AT BEST before they remove the notify button for meeting/exceeding currently supply. 


They're only being swell guys as long as they can still make money out of it. 

So for me it was 6:46 PT when I finally got in. 

Based on past cards, how long will it be until I can actually buy one?

This is very depressing to people like me who joined in like january/february 2021 for some of these cards lol

 
You got in quite late for the earlier cards then.....  Been waiting 8 months for any 3080 and 3070 since they launched. I got in the queue MUCH earlier with the Ti models this time around

i mean 800 dollars for a 3070 TI is really good in the current market... my 2070 super currently sells between 700-800 on used market on average lol

That was almost painful

The 3070 ti uses the same silicon as the 3070.  The 3080 ti uses the same silicon as the 3080.   Yet I've been on a waiting list for over 8 months , and I'm still waiting for that 3080 non-ti... meanwhile they just sold and shipped the same silicon for more money, under a different model number.  
 
It's pretty obvious, they're greedy and they COULD have had honor and provided the silicon under the waiting list, but instead they increased the overall price by 80% and ignored the people on the wait list.   
 
It's the same GPU, and you can't claim you don't have any if you're shipping new models out the dorr with the same parts buried inside.   
 
Just admit it.  You're all fanboys and money grubbers.

It's all relative to the rest of the queue though. I feel like the site today was more "stable" than the 3080 Ti launch, allowing a lot more people to get in earlier than with the 3080 Ti. This is all a guess though but I'm just basing it on the timestamps that people have posted so far, but I really have no idea how many people got in the queue.

If its anything to go by, the 80Ti queue has moved pretty well. I got in the queue at 7:41 for the FTW3 and 7:44 for the Hydro Copper. Latest update on the notifies is that there in the 7:27-7:30s right now. 

If it moves even 5 minutes per week, that incredibly better movement than the vanilla cards

 
07:34 to be exact.  So i think we can at least get my rtx 3080ti in July 2021
