DSychev What we can deduce from the pictures.
- Custom PCB - 8+8 Pin - Different pump design from the previous hybrids - Quick release for the tube, could be integrated into an expandable water cooling system - Normal fan instead of a blower
Are you sure that's a quick release? Looks more like a blue LED ring around the tubing to me.
I'm sure it's a quick release, because we've seen it before. If you search for previews of the evga gaming case, they had the whole bunch of upcoming evga watercooling products stuffed in there with these quick releases.

I'm so happy because EVGA Hybrid is one great looking card with 8+8 pin, I saw Strix have 8+6 pin. And I'm always fan of 8+8 pin cards because that's proper custom design. But I saw and JayzTwoCents video... EVGA GTX1080 playing Doom on 4K. ACX 3.0 look sick from side, best of all ACX for now without doubt. Cards will fit amazing in SLI. I can't afford but I would not wait TITAN or 1080Ti... GTX1080 SLI is best, scaling is great, I saw on Youtube. If someone could afford two of them in SLI with 8GB memory and nothing could beat that, Vega, TITAN, 1080Ti, PRO Duo... NOTHING. That's way to go before Volta show up. And this year difference between GTX1080 and GTX1070 is bigger than 980/970. Memory is same but there are more power in GTX1080. I'm not sure is it possible to GTX1070 OC reach reference speed of GTX1080 but if someone have chance better to go on 1080 and 1080 SLI.

I have a question, if anyone from EVGA (or anyone else, really) can help me. I bought an hybrid 980ti on the 30th of march, and would really like to exchange it through the 90 days step up program... I kinda fear that the the 1080 hybrid won't be in the options for it before my 90 days are up though... Can I do anything about it?

Nice pretty much exactly what Gamers Nexus did, I'm not that impatient so I can't wait for the Hybrid to release! Especially so now since this time it's a custom card and not just reference w/ an AIO.

I think he just made a response saying that it is a custom PCB. He didn't tweet a picture of it. I'm really hoping they will have hybrid upgrade kits like last time. With the assumption that it will work with the FTW and/or the Classified.

If someone step-up from GTX980Ti Hybrid he could get only GTX1080 reference if I understand their system. Many people will want EVGA Hybrid GTX1080 and GTX1080Ti Hybrid. And that's great investment because AIO cooldown and hottest Radeon graphic card easy. EVGA GTX1080 Hybrid with 2x Gentle Typhoon Black Edition PWM 500-1850 RPM in Push-Pull connected to motherboard or fan controller. These fans... And you will have so nice temps in silence and Hybrid will become your favorite graphic card EVER. https://www.dazmode.com/s...cfm-black-edition-pwm/

Super lurker here. Jacob, is there ANY chance for dimensions on the hybrid? It's mentioned it's a custom pcb. I have an Ncase M1 and I'm worried about fitment. There are rumors the sli bridge portion of the pcb will hit a part of the case but it's impossible to tell without dimensions. If the hybrid doesn't work I'll have to go with MSI and their 1 (8) pin.

I like Hybrid cards, My main card, though old, is a Hybrid, of the 580's it's the coolest and fastest, but with My income devoted to other things right now, plus the lack of a Hybrid upgrade path, I have to wait, but a 1080 or a 1070 Hybrid pair works for Me.

In regards to dimensions of the 1080 hybrid: I currently use an EVGA hybrid cooler on my Titan X and do to the unique way that my case requires the GPU to be installed, the tubing length between the block-pump unit and the radiator is crucial-- the tubes on my unit reach by about .25 inches-- is it possible to report the tubing length along with the other dimensions of the card when the information is available? The 1080 hybrid seems to use a new design; longer tubes-- +2"-- would be great.

My GUESS would be not until after June. The 1st wave of cards already available (today) in the store for pre-release will go first, then the ACX-3 cards which are more heavily modified, then the hybrid and hydro. So, I would guess not until some time in July, best case.

In my country most people wait GIGABYTE G1 and ASUS Strix... I will 99% to buy Hibrid. Only I'm not sure 1080 or 1080Ti. Looks like GP100 will not be presented to gamers... GP102 is probably GP100 only GeForce version. Both are 3840 CUDA.

This Hybrid is something nicest I saw for very long time... I wish that card BADLY. When I say that I mean that. Last year I knew bigger fan could give so nice look to Hybrid and that's it...
I can't miss that model, I would give own a** for TITAN Hybrid...if she look same. But looks like I will have only GTX1080 Hybrid. Beautiful card. Nicest GTX1080 on market after Hydro Copper, she is out of league.

According to the evga specs on the ftw, which is the pcb the hybrid is based on, it's 5.94 inches in height. This means if you own a Ncase M1 you won't be buying any evga cards since all the 1080s on the evga site list as 5.94 height, even the FE.
Incredibly dissapointing EVGA.

I'm doing the exact same thing. I already have two new AiO pumps for the 1080s (should arrive Friday). It's good to see that the tubes fit over the side of the bracket, GN made it look like you couldn't mount it correctly. Also I'm totally with you on not removing the blower fan like they did on GN to connect the radiator fan. It's really not necessary and you risk a lot more damage.
