My Gigabyte AIO Hybid is finally being packaged from newegg. I opted for overnight shipping but probably won't get until Monday. I'll report in on temps and noise. I am quite familiar with AIO GPU's I previously came from 4x Titan X hybrids so I know what to look out for such as pump noise.

elezraita Lol. Well, your luck thus far seems to be better than mine. I have not so much as seen any of these cards in stock at any point, and I check as constantly as I can at while at work.
i saw the asus turbo, asus strix, msi gaming and the gigabyte gaming(none waterforce) come in stock only today, and the same time today after 5 minutes they ran out of stock. the Gigabyte waterforce came online today and it was out of stock when i woke up 6:30 this morning to go to work....and now look at them going for 1.300 on ebay

Thanks. This my first non-EVGA GPU in almost a decade. I am quite scared lol. I wish I got 2 but due to circumstances only 1 for the time being. I also wish EVGA would have gotten my business but Gigabyte wins this generation of AIO's unless there's some major manufacturing flaw in the Gigabyte. Gigabyte Pros: -High Core Clocks -Higher memory clocks -More power phases -Copper plate cools most of the GPU not just the core -No GPU fan at all so 1 less noisy fan in my case -Better outputs such as the VR HDMI ports on the front (won't use anyway) -Available sooner Gigabyte Cons: -Looks (subjective) -Can't swap out radiator fan unless major cord cutting or taking apart shroud -Customer service / warranty probably not as good as EVGAs

I'm sure it's a great unit. Don't forget to register it on their website so you get the extra year warranty making it 4 years in total.

Well, I managed to snag a FTW when they were in stock a just a few minutes ago. Man, it kind of feels like when my graduate advisor screwed me out of my PhD and I had to take a Masters. Despicable git. Anyway, it will depend on the pricing difference whether or not I go for a hybrid and sell the FTW (not at exorbitant prices), or just get the kit once it finally comes out. Either way, I'm on my way to getting a hybrid. It makes me somewhat relieved that I no longer have to keep refreshing the product page on my phone every ten minutes while I'm at work. I'll probably be able to get a lot more done now.

Dammit. I just pulled the trigger on the MSI SeaHawk Hybrid. I feel dirty somehow, but the waiting was killing me. It was in stock, taunting me for the 10 seconds before I had to s**t or get off the pot. I haven't had anything but an EVGA card in my main gaming towers since the 8800GT. Meh, the mobo and PSU are still EVGA. I'm still a good person, right?? I'll SLI them up with an EVGA bridge later, that should sooth my conscience.

I hear ya! I wanted to wait for a Hybrid as well, but when I saw that FTW in stock at Newegg, I jumped at it without even thinking. I'm relieved to know there will be a FTW Hybrid kit for it. However, if the 1080Ti or Titan P is announced, I will have to go for those.

I know how annoying the LED are, i had Sea Hawk two weeks ago and the LED was in front of my eyes 24/7 since my chassi was beside my screen (NZXT H440 chassi) But what do you mean ''couldn't be changed'', you mean turn the LED off? If so no then you can't, i had to buy a custom fan which i did and went for the Corsair SP120 High Peformance.

seyumi My Gigabyte AIO Hybid is finally being packaged from newegg. I opted for overnight shipping but probably won't get until Monday. I'll report in on temps and noise. I am quite familiar with AIO GPU's I previously came from 4x Titan X hybrids so I know what to look out for such as pump noise.
I have been looking from outside this forum since May 29th as my #1 choice is the EVGA 1080 Hybrid. This is my first post since then. I gathered a lot of usefull information posted here including reading the GIGABYTE 1080 Waterforce being available at newegg. So I decided to go for it (Waterforce)......but noooooooo......Product available at 6PM Pacific time on newegg, at 5:59PM, the retail posted ($769.99) with new message "OUT OF STOCK"...... The day after the sale I asked if newegg sees any new Waterforce orders, none at this moment. I asked, how many did come in.....Get this.....30 fricking units of Gigabyte 1080 Waterforce :( Congrats seyumi, you were 1 of 30. Newegg told me they are filling auto notify first. That was the reason 0 inventory, they were already sold. The experience just took the wind out of me. Hyped up for months. Disappointed. Now this is what I think with all manufactures of the 1080. Production is so slow in producing product the quantities are not worth even listing. Get 30 in, tick off 5,000 peeps. The pictures EVGA brags about of "more coming", are small. one pallet. NOT TRUCKLOADEDS. EVGA Hybrid will be no different. Just a small handful on first few availability. And then the long process of months of out of stocks. Since "most" will not pay the high price of the 1080Ti, this maybe a better option to secure a extreme 1080, vs waiting for months, and months, of out of stocks. Getting a 1080Ti you know is next month!! August!! You do realize that when this EVGA Hybrid is first available, it will be a very small quanitity. Most will not get this item. My hopes just got busted with the Waterforce experience. Sucks, I don't see truckloads of this video card. Competition, speed to shelf drove getting the small quantity that no one can use. Let me be clear, I don't hate EVGA, I personally have install many of their fine products: EVGA 4GB 980, before that the EVGA 680/480. EVGA 1000 watt power supply with current build. Great customer service. For these reasons, EVGA Hybrid is my first choice. But the wait of months and months, I am loosing patience. And just maybe pay the price in August :) Thanks for all this usefull information, I have learned a lot.

all I meant was you cant unplug the led fan and replace with whatever fan you chose. If its possible to turn of the LEDS I would be okay with the seahawk, really. But I have the 980ti hybrid and the fan is incredible,I tested it at 22%,42%,65%,75 and 100% and it the gpu was dead silent. the rpm was maxed at 2800 rpm I belive which 75 and 100% is the same rpm. I havent tested many gpus in the last years, but I know the evga fans are pretty awesome and silent, even tho if I get 1080 hybrid I probably will change the stock with with a other one.

I have a question about the 1080 hybrid cooler kit. Do I have to remove the complete front - like for EK water blocks or the individual parts, similar to the EVGA 980TI installation video on youtube? Is it possible to make a picture from the installation guide?

This is for the 980TI and @reddit you will find several comments that the installation is similar to EK water blocks. If this is the case, you have to remove the complete front via the screws behind the back plate and not like in the 980TI video.

Went ahead and got the GigaByte 1080 Xtreme WaterForce. Super excited to see what it can do, as it promises the highest out of box OC of the water cooled cards(1936mhz). I will keep you guys informed as to what it can do stable after some fine tuning for that sweet spot

It's a bummer that none of these can reach that 2200+ threshold.. the water will help keep the core clock at its max, at least. As for specific cards, I saw the "Add to Cart" option for the Waterforce, but already purchased the FTW a couple days prior. Depending on temps and core clock sustainability, I may not purchase the 1080 FTW Hybrid kit. Plus, that Titan P has to be coming very soon and I'm sure the regular 1080 Hybrid cooler will fit that.

I wonder hows the noise on 1080 hybrid cooler kit pump? Can you change the fan out? Whats the AVG RPM of the fan on load? Just wandering since I have h115i and I am hoping pump noise will be exactly like it is on Quiet for h115i or even lower ( h115i is completely silent inside it's case on idle and load but does make 'pump' noise if you open the case and try your hardest to hear it ).

Udo_G I have a question about the 1080 hybrid cooler kit. Do I have to remove the complete front - like for EK water blocks or the individual parts, similar to the EVGA 980TI installation video on youtube? Is it possible to make a picture from the installation guide?
Just finished taking pics of my install guide. I'll add one soon.
Thanks and cant wait.

shanebuchman Went ahead and got the GigaByte 1080 Xtreme WaterForce. Super excited to see what it can do, as it promises the highest out of box OC of the water cooled cards(1936mhz). I will keep you guys informed as to what it can do stable after some fine tuning for that sweet spot
What did you actually order? This ? "Ordered around 6:00 PM EST, SC and FTW were in stock around that time." http://forums.evga.com/Im-sorry-EVGA-I-gave-you-over-a-month-m2506850.aspx#2506860

I got the Waterforce 1080 with Gigabyte, cause I wanted something watercooled with a good warranty soon. I was gonna get a EVGA watercooled this round but the delays or whatever stopped it from coming out late June/early July stopped me from getting one. When I saw that Waterforce card's clocks out of the box were so high I was sold, so hopefully its a good overclocker. So just waiting for it to arrive sometime between now and Thursday.

On a GTX Titan X I had with the EVGA cooler the pump was not very noticeable if any at all. The fan in the 1080/1070 kit can be changed, it's just screwed to the 120mm radiator -- haven't installed mine yet, however. If you have the space, and really want to, you could do a push-pull fan configuration. For example, I used a Noctua NF-F12 PWM fan for a hybrid GTX Titan Black install using a Hydro Series HG10 N780 GPU Liquid Cooling Bracket with a Corsair H55 pump. With that configuration, I had to keep the Titan Black GPU in the top-most slot, as there is no way of keeping the hoses perpendicular to the card such that they do not occupy the slot at the top. The hoses thus angle towards the top of the computer case, slightly blocking the slot on top -- picture attached. The EVGA GTX 1080 FE is the one at the bottom, before hybrid conversion.
