Hi I just got my new EVGA 1070 TI FTW Ultra but I got some error in my memory . I thought my XFX Pro 750 watts Core series got two 6+2 pcie power sets but it really got only one 6+2 and one 6 pins so what should I do .

-use two 6 pins to 8 pins adapter that come with 1070 TI , I still concerns are this adapter safe for long terms ? (I look closely in those EVGA Bundle Y adapter and I had only one 6 pins left if I use that adapter it connect only 6 pins from 8 pins )
-buy new power supply that got 2 x 8 or 6+2 pins.
-try to sale this 1070 ti to to my friend and buying new card that need pcie power as my old power supply could support.

Thanks and sorry for my pooor English.

    Welcome to the EVGA Forums

use two 6 pins to 8 pins adapter that come with 1070 TI

When your ready ... Buy a PSU with the correct number of 8-pin / 6+2-pin

Will you "run the card with Stock settings" - Or - do you plan on OC the card ?

Are you sure that PSU does not have two 6+2 pin PCI-E connectors?..Everything I'm reading tells me it has them, and that it also has two 6 pin PCI-E connectors.

But yes, the two 6 pin to 8 pin adapter will work OK.

lol sorry for my mistakes again . Just recheck my PSU  it had two of 6+2 pins and two of 6 pins so now I could use that 1070 TI , but had some curious I seen EVGA 1070 TI standard version use only one pcie 8 pins while my FTW need two of 8 pins why did FTW need more power ?

another question how could I adjust FTW's fans it looklike both fans are working on temp (if temp does not rise beyond setting fan does not work) I would like to set both fans to always working.

    Thanks

You could also use Precision XOC if you prefer.

Also know that an EVGA 1070 TI FTW Ultra has a Dual BIOS..The little switch is located near the 8-pin PCIe supplemental power connectors..Sliding the switch to the Slave position and then restarting your PC should keep the fans spinning all the time and also increase the Power Target for better overclocking potential..It should say on the backplate which position is which (Master/Slave)..The Master position is to the left/back of card.

You'll see some specs in the link above showing your card is a 235 watt card that needs more power than the normal GTX 1070 Ti which is a 217 watt card.
