Hello, I've had this (08G-P4-6386-KR) EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Classified for a while now and finally nabbed a secondary one with which to run in a SLI configuration. I also got the correct EVGA Pro SLI Bridge HB (100-2W-0026-LR). For the most part, everything was* plug-and-play. By that, I properly installed the hardware and booted the computer. At first there was an unknown error preventing the computer from booting. I then removed the secondary card and tested the system independently (twice over) and confirmed everything to be nominal. I can't say for certain what the problem may be, but I am experiencing issue*... - I used the EVGA Precision X1 Software to configure the LED on the first card sometime ago when I'd first acquired it and attempted at doing the same for the secondary. However, I cannot manage doing so regardless--for either of the two. <--Help? The main issue--apart from not being able to adjust the RGB on the secondary card to match the first (as well as not being able to adjust the first, either)*--I can't get the system to run/utilize "SLI". ...What am I Doing Wrong? - As well as the GPU LED's, the chassis LED's have ceased functioning too -- could not having sufficient PSU result in not being able to task SLI? Currently I am running ASUS's Z77 Sabertooth + Intel 3770K w/ Phantek (PH-TC14PE_BK) + 1 HDD + 2 SSD's &w/ G+750W PSU I loaded up CPU-Z to validate 2x GPU-Cards (which I failed to confirm) -- only the primary card is shown present, the secondary card is not being detected? The EVGA Pro SLI Bridge lights up matching the first card, though... >.< Thanks!

Using the power cables that came with the PSU ? Confirm GPU fully inserted & All power sockets are populated & plug is firmly inserted Basic tests: 1) Test with just the new GPU 2) look at MB manual .... PCIe population rules ... are you using the MB PCIe slots the MB says to use for SLI ---> Turn Off Windows fast startup ... if Win10 starts from the file of previous run & does not look for new hardware If each GPU works by itself: 1) with both GPU loaded - do you see both GPU in BIOS screen ? 2) NO SLI bridge ... did Windows allow you to install driver for second card ? 3) Nvidia Control Panel .... turn on SLI - (after shutdown - install bridge & reboot required - first) use the older software & try to set the LEDs on your 10 series cards .... X1 seems to struggle with 10 series If your not pushing the CPU & GPUs with large load & OC your750W PSU should work

There is No Option to Enable SLI (NVidia Control Panel) *I went ahead and swapped the GPU's (card#2 to bay1 & card#1 to bay2) to no success [with SLI]. Other than confirming that both cards are functioning independently, I cannot manage successfully navigating SLI... :( Could it potentially be the SLI Bridge is defective, then? --How can I locate the GPU(s) in BIOS? Considering both cards are booted/functioning, I'd like to assume 750W PSU is adequate for SLI (with this 2xCard) -- the EVGA Wattage Calculator averages ~708W (for 2x SSD's, 1x HDD, 2x 1080's) *** I can't change the color to match the other card and I can't successfully incorporate SLI ... other than that, everything else is running just fine.

If one of the cards isn’t detected by gpu-z then it sounds like a pci-e slot on your board has a problem. If both cards are shown in device manager, and you still cannot enable sli then it may be that one of the cards is running in x4 mode which would prevent sli. Sli requires both cards to be running in x8 mode at least. If both are able to run at x8 then it could be a faulty sli bride, or a faulty sli finger on one of the cards.

Only 1x Card appears to be detected under Display Adapters (Device Manager), though both cards are plugged in and "on".* And NO Option to configure/enable SLI in NVIDIA Control Panel Nothing seems to be in error except that I can't for the life of me get SLI to function or switching the aRGB to match the other lighting... - Even without SLI enabled 2x cards should be showing up under my device manager list, riight? --because I have 2xCards plugged in so therefore it should show 2x cards featured? the fact that it's only showing 1x suggests to me something is wrong,, potentially(?) with the PCIe port /&or/ the SLI Bridge/SLI Finger* :O * * I went into BIOS and double checked what I could... Other than the immediate RAM configuration, everything is set at Default. I see no reason it shouldn't be as easy as Plug-&-Play Thanks again.

If both cards work fine individually in the first pci-e slot then there is clearly something wrong with your second pci-e slot.

How could I look into confirming functionality of bay PCIe 3.0 x16_2 -- would running the system only 1x card in this port be a way to see if it's defective? Otherwise, I suppose it's high-time to just "UpGrade" (new MoBo'nAll) :\ *Thanks

I took out the 1080Classified and threw on a RTX2060 to test and see... ...sure enough, I get independent functionality with the 2060 across both PCIe_1&2 but only PCIe_1 when using the 1080Classified ... something's wrong here. I don't have dual 2060's to test SLI that way--also it doesn't feature SLI as a standard alone card. *to reiterate: my motherboard boots to BIOS just fine from the second PCIe Bay using a 2060 but refuses to function w/ the 1080 in same configuration. (Booting w/ the 1080 in PCIe_2: the monitor kicks on but displays only black then after a brief duration the display disables and the computer is left screenless) - Although windows doesn't want to load (probably due to busted PCIe port?) BIOS works, tho *Thank you!

Odd. Sounds like some strange compatibility issue.
