During the call, Activision’s President and CEO, Coddy Johnson, explained to investors that “while Forsaken is a high-quality expansion with strong engagement”, it did “not achieve” sales expectations. Beyond that, Johnson also admitted that “there is still work to do” when it comes to re-engaging the core Destiny fanbase. Bungie will need to continue delivering on content updates and keeping current players happy in order to get positive buzz going once again. It’s not all bad news though, while Forsaken didn’t quite meet expectations, it did cause Destiny franchise sales to grow year-on-year. I agree that more work is needed and if there is a Destiny 3 then that needs to be a better gaming experience.

I've been enjoying the heck out of D2: Forsaken actually. Bought the Legendary Collection when it was on sale for the pc. If only they could release D1 on the pc though. Then again Destiny 2 and Diablo III have been a welcome break from WoW due to the BfA content drying up and getting so boring now.

main story / game was fine  but the endgame stuff gets stale pretty quick.  Too few areas to play in, not enough interesting things nor places after storyline is over.

I did not play destiny 2 but in the first one I felt like there was a lot of missed opportunities. There should have been a way to fly your ship abs space battles. It was annoying that the ship was a loading screen.
