After playing with my favorite benchmark for ages , I came to the conclusion that the only way I was going higher was with DICE .
It's not a bad score and beat my last one (that was the worlds 7th best) but I need to keep temps down to progress .
I may need help (advice) fitting it when it comes .
Here it is and hope it's not too difficult to fit.....    https://kingpincooling.co...ing/products/tek-9-fat

    My idea is this .
Remove GPU from case , mount it away ( already have another PSU and a few riser cables ) .
Spray MOBO back and front with silicon, CRC or WD40 ( after applying dielectric grease to all exposed contacts)
Wrap DICE tube in kitchen roll as well as silica gel bags placed all around enclosure
Also have a koolance chiller to keep it cool and well below ambient.
After ive finished and want a normal life , clean it all off with good contact cleaner .
    Will it work ?

Where's the chiller being used here I'm a bit confused? To surround the pot and area your better off getting the regular insulating covers or blankets for your parts in my opinion, don't take shortcuts, do it right.

Chiller will go on the front rad for CPU.
Still can't find any good guides .
When you say insulating covers , you mean neoprene ?

No there is regular insulating material you can get when using dice and ln2. As far as the chiller you don't use a radiator when using a chiller, the chiller has its own heat exchanger and pump. Your chiller goes to your CPU or video card or both and back to the chiller. Simple loop.

    Re: DICE 2020/01/29 17:41:02 (permalink)
Looked further into the koolance and I will put a KP water block on card as well as a block on CPU and use chiller to do both .
I can then get shot of all the AIO's.
I'll forget about the DICE pot and probably use it as an ornament ( That was a waste of time buying that).
I'm thinking CPU first in the loop ?
Will the KP water block be a straight swap?
    Thanks

Wait you already bought the pot and you’re not gonna use it? LN2/Dice will get you a lot colder than a chiller. Just take the time and research how to prep your card and pot properly, lots of good reading and resources on the internet on how to do it..

I'll try the koolance first on the CPU and hydro copper and if that's ok , I'll just sell the DICE pot on.
    If not , I'll give it a go .
