I doubt it is temperature related on my hybrid the gpu core never breaks 50c and none of the other icx sensors get above around 60c

Think of it this way Cyberpunk with everything turned to max RT an DLSS quality is using almost every corner of the chip. Raster, RT, AI, if any of them have a issue you will have to back down the clocks. its like a cpu all core can't hit the same speeds as say half the cores at one time.

Run same overclock as I do on other RT heavy games (Watchdogs, Control, Metro) +80 core + 250 mem.
Pure raster games I run 145 core, 500 mem. Benchmarks I run 175 core, 1000 mem.

You might be on to something. I tried running cyberpunk with an 6600k overclocked to 8.3 gHz and my gpu plugged directly into the power transformer on the power lines outside my house, but my computer just burst into flames for some reason.

Guess my question is what happens when you run all parts at 100% stock? I would rather run the game stable with no overclock and have it run then have it crash. Of course on a new game it's hard to say it's the system causing it and not the new game needing a patch.

Running my 3090FTW3 at full stock, it still crashes when the GPU hits ~1950mhz or higher. I had to turn the power target down to 70% to mostly resolve this issue.

SET DLSS = PERFORMANCE.DISABLE Film Grain, Chromatic Abberation, Motion Blur. And to re-iterate, this was not a graphics card issue. Nor a game issue. I just had bad memory overclock. Timing were too tight in my case... reverted to 4600MHz from 5000MHz. Game runs power slider maxed 119%, voltage 100%, +90 gpu, +700 mem @ 2070MHz stable.

I have a 3080 ftw3 ultra and what I found is going from 1950MHz to 2040Mhz made no change in frames per second.

Cyberpunk does not like my overclock on my 3080 FTW3 Ultra, multiple crashes with it. Then reset to default and its fine.

Tip for CP2077: When you get the "flatline" crash with Cyberpunk, you can click on the link that says "what is in this report". It will open a folder location. Open stacktrace.txt, that will tell you what caused your crash more specifically.

Game keeps crashing with my 3080 FTW3 Ultra on stock settings as well. I've had to dial in a 100mhz underclock to keep the game stable. Still getting 95 fps on ultra RTX on at 1440p though.

What is your PSU? If you say anything like 750 Watt or lower then that is probably your problem.
Can't go wrong with like a EVGA 1600 Watt T2.
At a minimum for overclocking with single card 1000 Watt but if you have dual GPU then at 1600 Watts Power Supply.

I am getting around 70fps most of the time with 3090. I play on ultrawide 3440x1440p, what I did is disabled film grain, chromatic abberation, motion blur. DLSS set to quality and RT set to ultra.
I got a big fps improvement after uninstalling the driver using DDU in safe mode. I am pretty happy with my 3090 performance, but I am planning to upgrade my cpu next or so. Right now I am rocking 8700k, one thing I was worried it might bottleneck but so far everything smooth.

my game hasn't crashed yet, i have been waiting for it to but it still hasnt. i am running on ftw 3 ultra 3090 and an oc i7 10700k 32 gb ram my card is oc at 400 mem and 110 core, i havent had a game crash yet
