Thanks for the welcome.
This happened to me 3 hours ago. After trying two different credit cards (Visa and Mastercard).
First the banks stopped the transaction and then the Evga system blocks the cards for 24 hours or so (according to the after hours tech support).
Last April I had to be on the Phone with the CC Company to order but after that I said no more and only use PayPal now. Yep after hours sale are also going to be a problem from now on so it might be best to wait or use PayPal or a PayPal CC.

Same issue with myself also in Canada. I have called the bank and it is not an issue on my end. Very frustrating especially in 2019 when even the sketchiest websites have no issues processing a payment yet an established retailer continues to struggle.

How do I check out with PayPal instead? I don't see an option for that.

Ah, don't get that option on the different checkout page for RMA stuff unfortunately. Would be nice if they offered a PayPal option for that as well.

Call EVGA Customer Service
Alright, I emailed customer service and have been working with them since last night. This morning I got the charge approved by my bank and it showed up in my bank account. But a few minutes later I got a refund (aka a payment from EVGA for the same amount) that showed up right after! In no way did I ask for a refund, I have no clue what just happened. Additionally the page on EVGA's site still acts like I never paid in the first place. (And at no point did I successfully check out without an error code occurring either) Still getting the same 481 error if I attempt to pay again as of today. Just emailed support back about this though so I'll see what they say.

Had this problem as well. My Bank monitored the transaction and showed they were approving it and that EVGA was the once declining it. I contacted EVGA and they were very helpful. Ended up being that even though they give you the option to enter a different shipping address, and even though it is on file with your EVGA account, it would not accept that. EVGA support got it working for me. Thanks

I was having this problem and called my bank and they said it was a problem on EVGA's side, so I called EVGA support and they fixed it for me.

hate to necro an old post, but I was having this exact same issue and google popped this thread as the number one result, so here's my solution:
Goto ' my profile' and at the bottom it says region/language. select the appropriate answer! mine was still on --select-- , and once i changed it i noticed the card info box changed, and my transaction was processed successfully.
hope this helps any other wayward souls.
