Today I got off work to find that UPS had delivered my Corsair Obsidian 800D case. So I opened the box up to find a new case that needed to be modded tonight. The tools that you will need to remove the lower hard drive cage and make room for a dual 120mm rad down there. You will need the following tools to accomplish this mod: a drill, 1/8 drill bit, a Dremel (Rotary Tool), and a dremel part # 116, a Rivet Gun/Tool, and two 1/8" rivets. I then followed the instructions found here: http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81698 The end results: I ordered the following parts: http://www.jab-tech.com/XSPC-RX360-Triple-120mm-high-performance-radiator-pr-4384.html http://www.jab-tech.com/XSPC-RX240-Dual-120mm-high-performance-radiator-pr-4383.html http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=25562 http://www.frozencpu.com/products/6213/flc-116/AC_Ryan_RadGrillz_HEXX_2x120_Aluminium_-_Black_-ACR-RG30144.html?tl=g30c95s519&id=Pxwti4CW

I love the look of these cases.  I do love my HAF but the 800d is such a clean looking case.

Can't wait to see the rest of the build

Update: Power supply received: XSPC RX240 Extreme Performance Radiator: Measure twice, cut once: End result: A.C. Ryan RadGrillz™ HEXX 2x120 Aluminium - Black & Radiator installed: Spent a 45 minutes to find the right hardware to mount radiator and radgrillz. Pic of some AOC Evercool EC12025m12CA 120mm fans I had lying around that I purchased like 5 years ago from Danger Den. Contemplating on using these but the delimia is I only have 4 of these fans. I have 2 Sanyo Denki San Ace fans that I can equip this radiator with. I am looking for a uniform look and will be going with PrimoFlex Pro LRT UV Blue Tubing -3/8in. ID X 5/8in. OD or PrimoFlex Pro LRT UV Blue Tubing -3/8in. ID X 1/2in. OD. What tubing and fans would you go with? I ordered a XSPC Dual 5.25" Bay Reservoir for Dual Laing DDC and another Danger Den/Laing DDC 3.25 -12V 18 Watt Version today. Still contemplating on doing this install: Attached below is a link to a guy who installed a fill port with a 1 inch hole saw: http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=639546 What are your thoughts on this?

Well ordered my XSPC Dual 5.25" Bay Reservoir for Dual Laing DDC from Sidewinders yesterday and got it today when I got off work at 4pm. Also received my XSPC 360 rad and another pump. So without further a due, look what I have accomplished so far: Who needs instructions? XSPC 360 Rad mounted: The XSPC Dual 5.25" Bay Reservoir for Dual Laing DDC does not fit in this case. It requires a bit of modding. You have 2 options. You can bend the ears of the 5.25" bay or you could choose the option that I did. I chose to use a cut off wheel on the dremel and shaved a few millimeters off of those ears. Took me less than a minute to do and the results worked out. Apparently I was over consumed in my install of my Danger Den Derlin fillport that I inadvertently forgotten to take pictures of me masking off case with tape and measuring. Then I drilled a pilot hole and followed with 1" hole saw bit. Here is the result: I removed the front USB panel to drill: Here is the end result so far:

Nice build.  Do you play Call of Duty?  That's the first thing that came to my mind when I read your name.

    Why?

I think it looks just fine the way he did it with a 360 and a 280.

A 480 rad would restrict my ability to implement a fillport. I have to make a change to my fillport configuration to work.

If I ever needed more cooling I could always get another 120 rad for internal mount or get the Koolance bracket and mount another 360 rad externally.

For now, I chose to just go with my curent setup. This should be more than suffice.
