Quick question..
New to building PC

Been running fine with 9900k Aorus Master Z390 EVGA 2080TI FTW3 3600 CL16 Memory
How important is it to have the GPU connected by two seperate PCIE connectors?
Currently I have 2 cables from PSU to GPU. They both have 2 connecters per cable. one end from PSU the other end has two 8/6 connecters per cable; 2 cables from PSU to graphics card total.

Would I see any benefit using a traditional 8/6 cable with only 1 connector on each end?
Ive seen some stuttering at times playing Witcher 3 not sure if this is power delivery issue

It has been reported that the dual ended PCIe cable seem to cause stability issues for some members - it may be the cables, but why chance stability issues

If you have PCIe cables with a single end - you can get a cleaner look.

If your PCIe cable has two ends - do Not use the shorter, jumped end

What OC software are you using ?

What Benchmarks have you run ?

Run GPUz while gaming & look at the  ---> "Sensors tab" ---> "PerfCap Reason" & all the other indicators

Copy that, I ziptied the extension cable and I'm using the "main" end.
As of yesterday I downloaded afterburner, Not OC the card, just set the fan speed to 100% (previously was Precision with 100 mhz core nothing to ram freq) Still troubleshooting the stutter
Haven't ran any benchmarks at all.
Running 3440x1440 res, Wolfenstein runs fine, seems to only be witcher 3 in high population cities while running. \

Ill check things out with GPUz

    PerfCap reason = PWR

    What is this telling me?

    Thanks for the input

Performance is Limited by total Power limit of card
