3 days testing EVGA 2080 Ti Ultra on air and results are Now to change over to the second card: EVGA 2080 Ti XC Gaming 1) Flash the card 2) Test Card 3) Benchmark the card 4) Last, the 3 day hard running - 72 hours nonstop with Heavy load .... you know the basics Though I'm tempted to test faster on the second card -- skip forward ..... Maybe skip the benchmarking -- what do you think ?

Best to be on the safe side and test them out all the way on Air before installing water blocks is very true indeed.

Update
EVGA 2080TI NVLink on air - Fire Strike Ultra 14360 - just a quick tests, not even optimized At this time - No Motherboard OC: CPU & RAM running "auto settings" I'm sure the score could be better if Physics Score was not such a drag @ stock clocks So - Pay special attention to the Graphics score: 17650 I have NO idea why Fire Strike insists that G-Sync is turned On ? (maybe a setting in Fire Strike ?) Cause G-Sync is not turned on in my Nvidia settings / can't with that monitor LINK: https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/29443652

Pretty excited to see some more updates on your build. Thinking if I should go put a loop when I get approved from the 2080's in the step up queue :) This is giving me some motivation! keep us posted!

Heavy loaded for days ..... Δ T = 40C .... ("Delta T" of 40C = 40C Over room temp) this with Exceptional airflow through the case - as the sides are off of the case with auxiliary fan moving most of the heat away from GPU cooler fans Closed case will probably be warmer ---> even with "good airflow" as some heat will get recycled back to the GPU cooler Temperature in a closed case is not an issue, as these are going under water

Not going to be easy removing the Current Back Plate. I could not remove mine and did not want to use a lot of pressure doing so.

Have not installed the water blocks, yet. I'm trying to climb back into the Top 60 Folders in the World -- about 4 more days should get me to # 59 I did order some more G1/4 fitting earlier today in anticipation. Still need to finalize the design / layout Might not get a chance until after the Thanksgiving holiday .... going to be busy before then ....

I'm curious as well buddy, get the blocks on there? You are using my favorite PSU. GPU's aren't too shabby either. Lost track of thread a bit.

I'll break into the Top 50 in the World shortly & may pause long enough to finish the loop. With cold weather its not as critical

Looks like I may have hit my Peak position @ #24 in the World Its is a close call - if I can reach #23 before being passed It was a good run Might just finally shut down long enough to put this loop together, besides - all those parts keep staring at me Two loops - CPU separate for the look of it or just a Single loop ---> that is the question, still undecided
