I just got to mess around for a short while with my 3970X but ended up with a nice cinebench R20 score at 4.3GHz on all 32 cores.

Good result, but please don't take pictures like that.

You can make screenshots with "print screen" key to copy screen contents to clipboard or use screen snip utility that comes with Windows 10.

Taking pictures of a screen is last measure resort when system is unstable or frozen and taking screnshots normally isn't possible.

Funny I see a lot of people take camera shots and never had a comment like this. I guess your saying my system was froze up ( which it wasn't) or your saying it's unstable (which it might be) because like i said just getting started with it. In that picture all 4 of the top scores from the threadripper 3970X are mine i did them all.

Anyways i've put plenty of info and images here on the forums to help people using imgur, copy/paste, screenshots, even videos so i'll continue to do as i have been and just take the trivial, good, and bad comments as they come in and say game on and benchmark away fellow forum members.  Oh and by the way @a213m, congrats on the DDR4 SPD reader/writer, great accomplishment there.

Hey @spit, yeah here ya go, i went with the R20 because its the newer version and designed more for the high core count cpu's. Kinda strange though, it shows the operating system as windows 8 and i'm running windows 10. I noticed yours is showing the same thing in your 10900k post.

So i ran Aida64 for an hour this morning as well which i know could be longer but after an hour this is where it was with all cores at 4.3GHz. Aida64 was still running while taking these screenshots.

I don't know what i'll end up with, my ram is running at stock 3600 and i only have in a 1660ti gpu right now, i was just kinda trying to get the system up and running to make sure its all good before i start with the gpu and custom loop and ram overclocking. It just amazed me how much things are different in the bios stuff for options between AMD and Intel. Some of the options i'll have to research just to figure out what the heck they even mean.

    Insane processor.
But 3960X would be my definitive choice for processor now if Intel fail.

OK spit, now what does this cpuz image have to do with your cinebench score here when we can't see it?  Also those are some nice low timings and great multiplier on the cpu but i noticed you have your 4266 ram running at less then 3600 here whats up with that?

"OK spit, now what does this cpuz image have to do with your cinebench score here when we can't see it?  Also those are some nice low timings and great multiplier on the cpu but i noticed you have your 4266 ram running at less then 3600 here whats up with that? "
