For some new reason, I can not find the Windows 11 “Windows Update Cleanup” tool in the Settings menu. I always like to delete old Windows Update files. In Windows I go to Settings > System > Storage and select Temporary files. Now there is not option for me to delete. Screenshot provided.

from "Gear icon" - System - Storage - Temp files - the option should be there to "cleanup old Windows file", automatically & other PC cleanups

If you go to "Start Menu" - "All Apps" - Scroll down and select "Windows Tools". You'll find Disk Cleanup in there along with many other useful tools.

When I follow your method of going to settings > system > storage and temp files, this is what I see for removing old files:

That was my 1st thought to. But then following the steps he said he uses wouldn't bring up that screen in Windows 11. I thought maybe that was an image of what he wanted to find. Either way, he has two methods to achieve the same result. If neither methods work, some setting in the registry, group policy, or services.msc could be disabled or his Windows install possibly corrupted somehow. If you still can't delete old Windows update files you can follow this method. It does work in Windows 11 as well as previous versions back to Win7. > https://www.ghacks.net/2017/11/16/how-to-delete-downloaded-windows-update-files/

Now I can see many alternative ways in order to delete Windows update files, besides the tradional method. Its great to see the above methods for an overall technical knowledge base.
