I'm thinking about paying an extra 200 or so for the card on eBay brand new but looks like all of them are the original RGB front plate or whatever. Wasn't that the first model before they made some revisions or am I mistaken? I know I can get register the card and get a new one if I have any issues with it but just curious if EVGA is shipping out a newer model/revision for the 3090 FTW3 Ultra? Thanks.

So far the only “change” has been the red accents have been changed to black.

Be aware that buying from eBay makes the card a second hand purchase, unless purchased directly from Evga’s official eBay store, so you will lose a lot of new owner coverage. Your warranty would start from the date the card was shipped from EVGA, you wouldn’t be allowed to purchase extended warranties, and Advanced RMA wouldn’t be an option.

Oh wow. I figured as long as the card was brand new unopened, legit seller with good feedback, etc.. would be okay. I didn't realize this would be a problem as long as the box was in fact brand new factory sealed. Thanks for the heads up! I guess I'll continue to wait and just use my EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 TI FTW HYBRID 11GB GDDR5X until I an get a 3090 FTW3 Ultra or the 3090 Hybrid.

Buying on ebay is always a risk.
