I picked up a 370 Classified K in August. I decided to wait for the new Intel Chips. I was thinking of RMAing the board to update the BIOS and get a 9900. But with the obscene prices (I get it’s all inflated) I think I’m just going to get the 9700. Do I need the latest BIO’s to run the 9700 or can I get the chip and update them myself or should I still RMA the board?

Looking for a little guidance from people smarter than me :)

Yep, you'll need bios 1.08 to run that cpu. You'll need to rma the board since the board doesn't have a bios you can just replace.
