Hi,

Just wanted to point out that the flow control software with my AMD Ryzen 1700 does not read the temperatures.  Every time I boot into windows, the fans are at max speed (I'm guessing because the software doesn't recognize the CPU temps) and I have to uncheck "auto" and recheck "auto" for the fans to wind down. I'm assuming after every time I toggle the "auto" fan curve the software then goes off of the coolant temperature.

Yes this is a know problem as well as most software to include Corsair's Software Corsair Link.
I just went with a Custom Water Loop on mine.

Mine was working perfectly till about 3 days ago with my Intel 4790k. Now the CLC280 doesn't save my settings. Every time I shut down the fans kick up. And after boot I have to log into windows, wait for software to load. Then select my saved fan curve profile 1 and apply. Every time.... It's really annoying and not what I expect for $129. Why is there no updates with this software? I got 3 days left on my 30 day return. About to send it back.

Did EVGA ever issue an update/patch to this glitch? Looking to buy 3-5 CPU watercoolers for my gaming buddies and myself & just stumbled across this thread. Most all of us are using RYZEN’s. o_O

Yes, Ryzen temperatures are now correctly detected. However, it does not take into consideration the 20C offset for the X variants yet, and still has a fixed max temperature of I believe 65C, which makes most processors, specially these X variant Ryzen CPUs, to be found running at max fan speeds frequently.

One would think this is an easy fix...

My evga clc280 works great with my Ryzen 2700X, my coolant temps idle around 30.0c and during long game play like Ashes of the singularity have a max coolant temp of 50.0c, with my cpu hitting temp of 50-65c range.
I have a very aggressive fan cuve with max fan when coolant reaches 37.0c, idle around 30.0c at 1500rpm fan speed. But for low noise i drop the fan speed to 1250rpm for silent running, for an average coolant temp of 31.0c and that
keeps the cpu happy and very cool, like 30-44c range, if not hard cord gaming for hours.

Id be curious to hear what cpu temps you guys are averaging and maxing on coolant and cpu.
    Thanks.

Yes my one too everything is charm and running great! My 4790k running at 4.8mhz full max load reach 65 to 70c depend on UK weather and at idle 28 to 32c.
I have the same as your I have change to set manual from auto and set fan speed lower at 1200ish rpm and the pump speed set at 2790rpm which we cannot hear any noise fans....
When I playing any heavy game so my CPU reach average 50 to 60c is much cooler!!!
CLC 280 is really good cooler than other have you see?
