Time for MORE Power
 
Replacing the EVGA 1080 FE GPU with my third Titan X Pascal
 
Benching on the Stock cooler is done time to put the new EK water block on the Titan Xp
 
Then shut down my Big Dog Folding power house for an upgrade
 
Stay tuned for More Power

Just to show it does not always go as planned, especially when your under the Gun to get it Done.
 
Very Happy with my many Alphacool radiators that are in several Builds including Nibbler my "Big Dog Folding Beast" and another Rig I built
 
Only time Alphacool showed me a quality control issue is on the 420 radiator in this build
 
 
---> the fan holes were seriously out of alignment --> I had to open up the fan's mount holes a lot, to get them to align with the pattern on the radiator. 
 
If I was not in a rush (as usual to get back Folding) probably would have sent this 420 Radiator back.
 
They were clean inside though and cooling is excellent IMO
 
What happened at the factory on this radiator,  the fan hole are just poorly placed

It is hard to tell but it looks like they have no Fin Guards as well?

Fin guards (protection from long screws creating leaks / damage)
 
The photographer is not the best with just a smart phone camera

Nibbler is going to get an Update

 
Lets see if 4.5 or 5 Million PPD is possible with only 3 GPUs
 
Need to pull the EVGA 1080 FE --> as it is getting a new Home

I love this build especially as its going to be used in a good cause
 Like the way you modded the gpu block especially. I can only hope mine turns out half as good well done indeed +1 modsrigs!

still need to shut down and swap in the third Titan X -- too busy folding ..... the WU are good ones, don't want to stop yet.  Titan X is still on air Folding hard waiting for the EK block to be installed ...........   1.3 M PPD on air with the "good" WU

Started my heavy PM for this Rig ...... disassemble, clean ..... fresh coolant .... maybe an upgrade or two
 
Installing the Third Titan X Pascal water block ----> looking for better PPD
 
retiring the EVGA 1080 ... to other duties (?) - I'm not sure what to do with it, Or if I'll remove the water block & reinstall the FE blower ...

Power Supply - Upgraded from P2 to a T2     EVGA SuperNOVA 1600 T2, 80+ TITANIUM 1600W, Fully Modular  

Individually Sleeved EVGA Power Supply Cables


Fan controller added - Lamptron FC5V3

Case Fans - replaced Qt 3 - Phanteks - PH-F140SP -- with -- 3 EK - Vardar F3-140ER


Reworked the layout of loop for improvements
 
Custom Sleeved the D5 Pump's power cord

I'm happy with those numbers.  Not too bad, with an old X99 MB, 5960X CPU & slow RAM with SLI - Titan X Pascals

Custom water loop in a 74 F room - no chiller ... just a little tuning

Changing out the spark plugs and tuning the throttle body? Adding in twin turbos? Maybe a super charger?

 still waiting for some 30 series GPUs
 
Installed a EVGA 2060 Super 
 
So, new name: "Nibbler Light"  @ ~ 2-3 million PPD
 
at least I have all the water cooling parts out for first major cleaning since I built the rig 4 years ago .... while waiting for some RTX 30 series products
 
Good thing I had that spare EVGA CLC 360mm All-In-One RGB LED CPU Liquid Cooler

Update:  still waiting for any 30 series GPU
 
Removed the EVGA 2060 Super, I previously installed after removing the custom loop after selling the 3 Titan X cards
 
Installed one of my EVGA 2080Ti from my RTX build for now
 
So, "Nibbler Light"  @ ~ 5 million PPD
