I never thought about this! that does get annoying for sure.

Certainly.
It does take away that annoyance factor.

I'd link the Author to you, but I can't get on the Nexus for some reason...

Hothtrooper(44?), he makes some very impressive armor mods, most of them are lore friendly as well. Highly recommended!

A few screen shots WITH armor on.

i laughed when i read this. I personally think some of the nude ones actually add alot of emersion to the game. If i take someones armor off them they shouldnt be still dressed. A few of the adult mods on the nexus do look like they were made by perverts. Thats why im happy my characters a guy, alot the female armors barely have any cloths on. Atleast the male ones are original with alot of detail and actually look they they would protect my character and add to the game.

Mainly what i used is alot of graphics mods or mods that just add small things to the game that should have been there to begin with. Ive noticed even the little details make a big difference is how the game looks/ feels. I will look though my list of mods and pick out my favorites, so you can give a few a try.

idk if anyone has seen this video but if your interested in making your own NPC follower from scratch using the creation kit this is pretty good guide. Its actually alot easier to do than it sounds. I made a follower last night and it came out great only took about a 1/2 hour. You can even select there stats and everything. The video is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_841286&feature=iv&src_vid=2U6EkN20LqA&v=j4HkKToVtMc

"Better Riften" works pretty good. And it's not over the top.
Subscribe through the workshop.
"Pure Waters" with "PW landscape Textures" and "PW Rain Ripple" has its good point and bad points. The bad points are the fish are too easy to see from land at times.
Subscribe through workshop there's a link to the PW add ins.
"Skyrim HD 2K full v1.5 textues" works pretty good.
Installed through mod manager.
"Mijol facelift" works pretty good.
Installed through mod manager.
"Tree House" works, but not folower friendly.
Subscribe through workshop.

This is what I'm running so far. All seem to work well together.
Good thread. I'll have to look into some of the other mods people are porting here.

I'm still looking for a good follower friendly house mod that isn't full of patches, and fixes.
