As for women breaking lore in skyrim. Whos to say that women is the land of elders scrolls all looked look zombie potato women. Surely there were some hotties back then. And im going to guess that clothing was not much of a concern either. I say we bring back the nude olympics like the ancient greeks.

Read his post again; he's saying it makes no sense for women to run around, slaying people/monsters/dragons, and wearing almost nothing in a cold place like Skyrim. Doesn't seem legit.

I just find it funny when people try to say things aren't legit in a game like Skyrim that has magic. Who is to say that they don't have magic clothes that heat them up?

I just find it funny when people try to say things aren't legit in a game like Skyrim that has magic. Who is to say that they don't have magic clothes that heat them up?
It has nothing to do with realism. Some of us enjoy the game for what it really is and want to keep it as lore friendly as possible. Such mods that have been mentioned totally destroy lore and make no sense. Not saying that everything in Skyrim is super practical, but it's just a huge immersion breaker. Then again, most gamers don't care for immersion or lore. Sad.

Because there's no way to cast such a spell, it doesn't exist in the game, nor does it show up like other spells/enchantments do. Nice try... almost  But the biggest problem this causes is with immersion like we said, but of course this is irrelevant to most.

Well, if it's not in the lore then it's not lore friendly. There is no magical clothing spell in the lore. As for mods, I have plenty. I keep them all lore friendly though. No need to download ugly enbs, weird bikinis and dresses(not that I would plays a female character), and other immersion breaking mods. Every mod I download is lore appropriate and improves immersion and atmosphere.

No you totally do not understand lol. Like I said, they aren't casting that spell because such a spell isn't in the game. Running around naked (or close to it) ruins immersion. However I use mods that increase immersion, namely ones that improve visuals without changing style, adding new lore-friendly content, and increasing the survival emphasis.

It doesn't just have to be a clothing spell. It could be a heat barrier/shield or something like that. I don't see how that would be sooooo distracting, taking away from the lore with all of the other unrealistic magic spells in that game.

I'm starting to think you don't know what lore is. Lore is pre-defined. It's not something that can be altered by the player or modified by the player. Bethesda can add on to it. If in TeS VI they add a heat shield spell than so be it. As of right now that does not exist in the lore of TeS, therefor it is lore breaking.

Well those spells aren't in the game so... maybe you should make a mod that adds them. I don't think you know what the word "lore" means. But if you don't find running around naked distracting, then good for you. You've convinced yourself to use these mods and ignore lore. I'll let this thread go back to its original, very disturbing discussion now...

Skyrim "nude" casting spell with nudity patchs was rather entertaining for awhile lol. Hard to take Imperial guards seriously about taking me away for a crime when they are stark ass naked with their bitty spears running around chasing after me. Enad1
I personally find it weird that people feel the need to doll up virtual women, but that's beside the point.
I would never use one of those mods in Skyrim purely because it destroys the lore of TeS and it makes no sense to be running around in bikini chainmail in a winterized province fighting enemies with swords.

It's only sad if you think your values about gaming should be everyone else's. In reality it isn't sad and people don't have to be the same as you. The question is who cares? You do, but does that matter to the rest of us? Nope. I find the immersion is broken in all TES games once you become so ultra-powerful doing boring side quests and dungeons that it's no longer a challenge.
