Since I built the new computer I’ve had a few instances of BSOD but they were spread a few weeks apart, I thought it was from running the beta clients. I had it three times in 24 hours so I shut down till I get some answers.

Are you running the GPU Clock higher than 3037MHz?
For me this seems to be a good setting on my GTX 1080 Ti Card.
P11733 runs well but the New Core 21 Beta WU sometime crashes.
Most of the time it only needs to download another WU on the P11733 but this other new Core 21 not all the time.
But not seeing any BSOD or Restarts. I am running Driver: 391.35 Under Window 10 1709.
What are the BSOD Code Numbers like 121 or 124 or 117?

I’m not OCing anything just bumping up fan speeds. I’m hoping it’s just the wu.

Any kinda of extra information would be helpful. Temps, error codes etc.

When did you build your new PC? Is it just tossing BSOD's while folding, gaming has no issues?

Built it a few months ago, dedicated folder nothing else is on the computer or running besides folding and precision X. Temps on the 2070 are 70c on core 22 and 65c on core 21.
When I get the BSOD it just says something went wrong.
I’ll try running it again today and see if I can figure out if it’s a wu.
The last time I had the BSOD and rebooted it there was a wu that just finished cause I had to wait for it to upload before the next wu started.

RAM on the MB - did you set Voltage manually ?  what about timing ?

If you used XMP profile turn it Off it does Not help GPU Folding

Run CPU at Stock settings - on some MB the "Auto" setting is Not the Best & again set Manually

Using a UPS ?  Could it be small power interruptions ?

In your Precision XOC or X1 ?

Push the GPU Voltage slider up to say 96% ... card will only pull what it needs ... my 2080 Ti runs better @ 96% than 100% / ??  strange

I also push the power target & Temp target to 100% ... Let Nvidia Boost 4.0 do its thing

Run the Case fans @ a static speed (I use 100%) -- Not based on the CPU temp

I had a similar newbuild nightmare issue that was complete headscratcher. Turns out it was caused by W10 updates 1803 / 1804. It caused it to get stuck in a repair loop. Since then , any major revision I have done a manual install for.

I dialed back the GPU to 96%. Been stable so far for a day and a half. We’ll see.

I notice when running Core 22 my UPS Unit shows 520 Watts and with Core 21 only 480Watts.
