Small update: just talked to EK and they say right now they can only guarantee their initial blocks will fit the FE but when the cards release, they'll update their compatibility list as they figure out which non-FE cards it may fit. Hopefully I'll be able to block my EVGA 2080Ti relatively soon after launch instead of having to wait for my FE pre-order on 10/8.
