I have not seen any discussion about EVGA motherboards, question to EVGA motherboard owners, are they any good?

If you use the forum search function, you should find many threads about this same question with several anecdotal responses.

Mine would be that I've had a 680i, 780i, x58 and x99 motherboard from EVGA and all were really great boards. I had one issue with either the 680i or 780i (can't remember which honestly) and EVGA took care of it no problem. I plan on buying another one ASAP lol.

While I understand what you're saying, there's an old expression: "give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." Old threads on this forum are hidden. If you search for them, you'll find them, but only if you use the search function. One example: The forum rules thread is actually hidden. The only way I can find it is to use the search tool, which points to some threads where a moderator actually provides a link (the thread itself doesn't even show up in the search).

Yeap EVGA Mobo's always been good to me. Just price is bit heavy but worth it. Warranty is awesome just read it carefully.

I had a number of EVGA boards myself the only disappointment was my x299 board only lasted 4 months. just recently I put my EVGAZ68 board on a test bench not only did boot but I was able to install windows 10 on WD Velociraptor hard drive so that's going to be my next project when I get a job and can afford to put it together. here look at this hunk of whatever this pc is an EVGA 730I/9300 motherboard known for hybrid SLI this not supposed to run windows 10 or use a GTX 1080 but look at it gooo

    And definitely not their software.

My Z170 FTW didn't last long and I wasn't able to REPAIR it.
There was a bad odor for a brief moment and then the PC turned off and wouldn't boot. In the event, my new CPU was also damaged.
But I believe I'll grab another mobo should the price be decent. There are other BRANDs out there that are way worse.. no cap

Their boards in the past were fine, and they're still a good option if you're only interested in overclocking. But they don't have a lot of the features you might expect given the price. I went with the Z490 FTW for the warranty, but only found out after that you can't even control the CPU fan from the operating system. You have to go into BIOS to make changes, with only five control points. It was a shock to me, given that I came from a decade old ASRock P68 board that had full fan control from the operating system. Very weird cost cutting measure/oversight for a >$300 board to not have a feature like that when it's been available on more budget friendly boards for at least a decade.

I have found that EVGA makes great products and best of all is the community. I know if I have a question that people will help out and it’s really nice to see EVGA staff read the forums and respond. To me the board itself might be equal in quality to others but the customer service moves it ahead. I have bought other motherboards (combo on a motherboard and CPU) and it can be a real pain to get anyone to help.

I only went non EVGa for my AMD system because EVGa does not make an AMD board. My Intel system will be on a EVGa board when the board is released.

Yes, in general. If your in any other country than the US the RMA customer service is def not as good, but the hardware itself is built to overclock and they will last a long time if taken care of. I still own a 780i FTW that still works great and the P67FTW i used for 10 years and JUST replaced with the x299 Dark in the last 6 months that still works just as good as when i got it. Actually, i still have 33 days of warranty left on my P67, lol.
