A very complicated issue. The PSU borked the motherboard. Made it difficult to troubleshoot.

No apologies needed RJ. Just was getting worried something happened to you.
Glad it was just a computer issue even though it stinks. Good luck getting it all worked out.

Good to see you back RJ and that you got your system back up and running. I did think it strange you hadn't posted in so long and without a vacation notice or something from you.

Corsair psu took out your motherboard?

Yes and it took out my main motherboard and a backup during my troubleshooting. Waiting for an RMA for the PSU. The main motherboard is replaced and I have to RMA the other motherboard.

Surprised it took out two motherboards. Normally Corsair is a brand I would recommend and really would still consider this a freak accident.

Let us know how working with Corsair goes for an RMA if you Go that way.

I've read about a fair bit of Corsair memory issues, but not power supplies. Usually those are great. This was the new shift?

Yes but this the first Corsair PSU that I've ever had a problem with. I still buy Corsair PSUs.

Can't say I've had any problems with Corsair memory, nor their PSU's when I used to buy them. I've been buying Dominator Platinum ram for years.

Yeah, I'd definitely assume one-off on the psu. On the memory front, I've only heard issues about recent parts and it's hard to gage because ddr5 seems to be such a mess for everyone anyway if you're going over 6000.
